âMy husband and I travel all around the world. We decided to celebrate his milestone birthday and retirement at The Ivy, which had been on our bucket list for a while. My goodness! It's the best hotel we've ever visited. If there were such a thing as a six star hotel, this would be it. The rooms, the luxurious touches, the service, the thoughtful design, the food, the ammenities--all perfection. No detail was overlooked. Everyone on the staff greeted us by name. âThis property has earned its well-deserved high rating. Rooms were clean and modern and quiet. Morning breakfast was good, but the friendly staff are what really set it apart. Recommend this hotel!â
âThe hotel is OK, nothing special. The rooms are clean and pretty modern.
Upsides:
Some cosy and nice restaurants are located close to the hotel.
Nice beds
It is located close to the harbour and down town are. About a 25 minute walk.
Downsides:
The AC can not be change from the room. So if you want to change the temperature or turn it off you need to contact the front desk to do it for you.
if you decide to walk the down town area you will pass some underprivileged areas which do not look...
