Moldy bathroom, but a good location and easy check in
The apartment is VERY centrally located, so if you like to be in the middle of everything, this is where to go. The downside is that it is on a very busy street so if you have Uber or someone picking you up, it's difficult to maneuver.
The most disappointing thing about this apartment were the bathrooms - to say the least, they were gross. Mold in the showers (it hasn't been re-grouted in quite some time), and just felt gross showering in there at all (this applies to both bathrooms). Also, just a note that apartment wasn't completely done being cleaned when we came in (sheets were still off in one of the bedrooms, like the cleaning person forgot about it as only half the bed was made). It didn't matter to us because we weren't using all the bedrooms - only one. Kitchen was fine - nothing special, but if you want to run the dryer, it vents into the living room, so the windows will fog up if it's cold outside and it's extremely LOUD, so you can't sleep with it going.
One thing to note is that you can hear the person next door quite easily and you can smell (yes smell) them cooking. When we were there, they were definitely cooking broccoli or something pungent because it was extremely aromatic and didn't leave the apartment for about a day. There is also a yippy dog down the hall that will make sure everyone knows you are home when you arrive, but you can't hear the dog after you enter your apartment.
The landlord was communicative and we didn't have any problems checking in or out. The apartment is just cold feeling, dirty, and needs some upkeep and a deep clean of the restrooms. I wouldn't stay here again. We didn't love the location as it was just too busy.
