A modern, private cabin secluded within a private 30 acres, just a 2-minute drive away from Old Mans Cave! This 3-bedroom 2-bath Haus was fully renovation completed in 2024, updating the home with the latest tech and amenities while encompassing the elements from the world's most luxurious spas. The home includes two full-body massage chairs overlooking a custom indoor koi pond water feature. Two 10x10 showers with rainfall showerheads, an outdoor sauna and a 6-person hot tub. Book your stay now! Must be 25 years or older to rent. AWD/4WD recommended.

Quick get away

Very nice location and property. The eco-friendly dishwasher pod were understandably not the best option- we ended up handwashing dishes upon arrival. But this was not a big deal for us. Overall a great trip!!! Feels like you are up in a tree house, and my 9 year old loved the loft. So much fun & free massages to boot!

Modern & Nice!

We are "traditional cabin" people, but wanted to try something newer/modern. The property is really nice! The deck is huge and gives the feeling of being "in the trees".The only issues were... the hot tub at 84 degrees when we got there and it took a while to sort out the error to get it running. Having to go out in the freezing cold numerous times, on the frozen deck wasn't something I'd expect for the amount that we paid. Our contact did respond right away and tried to help. I eventually searched the web and sorted out the error myself. Unfortunately it took several hours for it to warm up - but we were able to get in eventually. The hot tub is nice!We were really looking forward to using the sauna after the hot tub - but that also had an error and would not work. I sent another text to our contact and were told they would need to send someone in the morning - but weren't sure if it would heat up in time prior to checking out (ugh). At that point, I was done with being out in the cold and didn't bother checking the web for any help. However, in the morning I did some searching and was able to clear the error code and got the sauna running. I think it would be great if they could provide a list of error codes and how to clear them.The DVD player was missing - which was odd.I feel like the place was still pretty new - so probably just some things to figure out still. Our contact was very responsive - and even followed up after we checked out. We would go back!

Fun Winter Getaway with Lifelong Friends!

The property was breathtaking! Beautiful home. Super responsive owner, management company, and very kind housecleaner. They plowed the drive quickly the next day after snow. The drive is steep and curvy- recommend all-wheel drive in the snow. The description says "sleeps 6-8 people" but would only recommend 6 people due to limited seating space in kitchen and family room. Small kitchen with not much counterspace. Bathrooms were magnificent but there were only 2 of them so be prepared to share if you have more than two couples. The massage chairs were fun! Sauna was really fabulous! Would recommend!

Perfect location, neat house

You can't ask for a better location, just 5 minutes from great hiking, and very private. The host was extremely responsive, and they even did a great job snow plowing a steep driveway to allow us easy access. The house is unique in its modern design, and had all of the accomodations and more to have a great time. Everything was clean and I would highly recommend this house to any who are looking for a trip to Hocking Hills.

Awesome time

I would rate this place 5/5 the reason it is 4/5 is the drive to the house. Alot of very large divots in the gravel road traveling to the house (and I come from Pittsburgh). My husband has a small car which bottomed out a couple of times. The area itself is secluded and sooooo peaceful. Extremely clean modern and cozy. Would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous Place to Stay

We had an incredible time staying at the Fairchild Haus! The home, amenities, and frankly everything allowed us to feel so relaxed and at peace. So much so that at times it was difficult to motivate to go for a hike and see the state park. The Koi pond was so much larger than we had anticipated and watching the fish was soothing, as was sitting in the massage chair with the pond light on, creating what looked like a dancing skyscape. The house had central AC and heat, which we had not experienced in the area. Everything appeared to be brand new. The sunrise over the hill was a spectacular sight. It was in a very secluded location, in which we could only see lights from two other properties that were rather far off. The only slightly negative was that we never recieved an entrance code to the front door and could not find a welcome book and only accessed the main website once to connect to the internet after hours of being there, which I assume would have been very helpful, but I saw it as I was getting ready for bed and bypassed the site. Overall it was an amazing stay!
