âWe stayed at this property 8/18/25 - 8/24/25. Perfect location in the Old Town to be able to walk, see and do everything. Although crowds get big during the day with the Jesuit Stairs right outside, it was never too loud inside the apartment. Great bakery (Mlinar) right down the walkway from the apartment as well as a daily famer's market in the square. âIt was an excellent stay and the hosts were very helpful. The only caveat is finding a public parking nearby. If not, its a great choice. We'd love to go back soon!!!â

âThis hotel is beautiful and in the center of Old Town Dubrovnik. Rooms are spotless, spacious, and very modern. We loved the breakfasts in the morning, and received 5-star service from everyone who works there. The manager not only arranged transportation but also walked us and our luggage to the main gate to ensure our driver was there. My only suggestion would be to bring earplugs as the bars near the hotel can get loud on weekend nights but it was fine once I put my earplugs in. Other than...

I would highly recommend it.
That said the in-house restaurant wasn't the best though. We had the tasting menu which simply wasn't worth the price. And the breakfast could have been better.
Also, beware of the man in the bar. If he tries to serve you something called slivovitz it's a trap. Don't drink it. â

âThis is a beautiful place to stay, right in centre of town. Very easy to get to from drop-off by taxi at Pile Gate, and thankfully it's on same level as the main street, so no struggling up lots of stairs on side streets with heavy cases, as other tourists we saw had to do. You do however have to lug cases up stairs within hotel if on top floor as we were , no lift. Beautiful room, everything catered for, perfectly clean. âClean and fresh. Ana was very service minded. Dubrovnik old town is tiny so doesnât matter much exactly where you stay. More important that it is clean. This place is 50 meters from steps of shame. Best snd coziest restaurants are however on the other (north) side of main street. â

âThis property has an amazing view of dubrovnik from its private patio. Its spacious and comfortable. Communication with the host was easy as was check in. âGreat spot in the old town. Nice big room with kitchenette, safe, good shower and excellent air conditioning.
Easy enough to get into, just make sure you read the instructions as thereâs a few different apartments in the building.
Hosts are responsive and helpful
No luggage storage as itâs all remote, but thereâs a place just around the corner which is very reasonable if you need itâ

Few notes:
Try out the hotel restaurants, they are fantastic.
A room with a terrace is nice but not a must have, try booking in the villa but if you have to choose there are plenty of outdoor space anyway at the hotel facilities.
Enjoy the amazing breakfast.
Ask for a sun chair at the sea front to experience the ultimate best of the Excelsior experience. The staff are attentive and always ready to help out! "
