We arrived on Saturday, July 9th. Unfortunately, the heat arrived with us. The flat is in a great location, about a ten to fifteen minute walk to St. Paul's Cathedral and short walk to the Barbican Tube Station. Retrieving the key to get into the flat was a wild treasure hunt, but we persevered in the end. The neighborhood is quiet and during the week there are food carts on the street during lunch time. The coffee shop on the first floor is great.
The flat is on top of a 3 story building, which means a lot of stairs and they are steep. There was record heat and being on the top of the building made the flat a heat box. Milena did order fans for us, but the heat was brutal. We spent most of our time on the terrace, which offers great views of the city and was the highlight of the flat.
Milena was very responsive and she can't control the weather. I would definitely recommend this flat, just try to avoid record heat.
