Nice, but musty

This is a nice property, great pool, bed was comfy. Close to beach. Kitchen well stocked. Cons: The unit had an awful musty smell, I had brought a can of room freshener so was able to spray that daily that helped. Microwave needed cleaning and there was a light bulb out in the bathroom. Beach umbrella on porch was broken, there is another one in the closet but we didnt know about it till leaving. The loungers for the beach were still locked at 8:30 on the morning we were leaving, I texted the property mgr but got no response. I guess since we were leaving that day she thought it was not important to reply.

Perfect Location

First floor one bedroom with beautiful beach and pool. Easy access to restaurants and grocery. Full kitchen, Fridge , Microwave and Dishwasher. Might be tight for FOUR people but perfect for two.

Mother & daughter time

This get away was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind from school and work. Our unit was very clean and welcoming. King size bed was very comfortable, living room furniture was welcoming. Staff was friendly and management checked in a few times with us throughout our stay( via text). The view of the ocean was breath taking. Pool was very relaxing and refreshing. We enjoyed everything from sun rise to sunset. One of the most beautiful beaches on the Gulf .

Needs serious improvement

This property needs work. The location is great and I am quite familiar with LBK. the screen door to the lanai doesn’t open properly and sticks, one side of the mattress is worn out, the kitchen is lacking in utensils and dishes. I’m not sure why there is a lounge chair on the lanai it takes up space and the sun doesn’t shine there so no lounger is needed, a small table with a couple chairs would be better. Overall the furniture is old and dated. The free umbrellas that I assume have been left by other renters are in bad shape and the beach loungers are also In rough shape. The pool was out of service until the last couple of days we were there and even after it was able to be used they “forgot” to turn on the heater. Would not recommend and will not use again.

Super convenient location to pool and beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here being only a few steps from the pool and a few more to the beach. We swam in the pool, at the beach, used the chairs and provided umbrellas, played shuffleboard, mini golf, and used the on site washer and dryer. Loved having the screened porch to throw our stuff into when coming back from the beach. Only wishlist item would be for there to be a key lock accessible on the porch so that you don’t have to walk through the front door in wet swimsuits. We didn’t feel comfortable just leaving the sliding door to the patio unlocked all day. Loved that there weren’t a ton of units and we always found a good spot on the beach. The unit did feel clean for the most part. Floors were a bit sandy when we first got there but we asked to check in early so cleaning may have been rushed on our behalf. Also some black spots in the bathroom shower that probably need a toothbrush taken to with bleach. But overall it was just perfect for us. Nothing Fancy, but we weren’t looking for fancy either. Also felt like the property grounds were kept up and always Looked nice. Management super responsive via phone and text for whatever we needed. Which was greatly appreciated. Would stay here again in the future!

This is a nice, simple apartment complex. It has a swimming pool, it has chairs and umbrellas at the beach. Bed and pullout couch needs improvement, pullout couch is almost impossible to have a kid sleep on it. Grill at the pool needs improvement, but I believe they are working on it.

Excellent location just steps from the beach.

This property may be an older property, but it was a very pleasant place to stay. The pool was right outside of our door and the beach was just steps away. The condo came equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely stay there again next year.

Great quiet getaway spot!

Proximity to pool/beach can’t be beat! Walk out the door and you’re at the pool, a few shorts stairs and you’re at the beach. We’re very glad that we decided to rent a car, otherwise we’d have had to make do with the little convince shop and few restaurants within walking distance. While the furnishings within the condo could use some updating, we didn’t mind too much. However, it would have been nice to have better bed/linens to fall into after a day outside. Overall, we loved the time we spent at Silver Sands and we’re already planning coming back with our kiddos.

Excellent Location

Property was clean, quiet and provided everything we could need. Short walk to the beach where lounge chairs are provided. Excellent location. Would definitely rent here again.

Great Family Gateway

Awesome location next to the beach. The condo was bigger then we expected and had everything we needed. Our kiddos really enjoy the pool. Clean and very organized. The manager was very attentive. We def be coming back.

Cons: 1. Description of the unit mentions two King beds: one is king the other is queen (queen is poor as bed moves and the mattress is expired). 2. AC in second bedroom is like an airplane. Just toooooo noisy and makes it difficult to sleep. 3. Dining table /chairs: Table okay, chairs horrible. Can't sit on them as the cushions had an expiration date years ago. 4. Bathrooms need updating and extraction fans sound like a freight train while on. There are excellent new fans that are practically noiseless. 5. Terrace was not cleaned Pros: 1. Excellent location on the beach 2. Next to great pool 3. Easy access to unit. 4. Complete kitchen 5. Good couch, living room chairs 6. Friendly staff.
