“I was visiting Olympia to see a sick family member, and my friend and I stayed here for just a single night. The hosts were very friendly and responsive when we discovered the water hadn’t been turned on, but we were the first guests of the season, so we understood. It’s a terrific little hamlet on a lovely and clear lake. We used the two-person kayak and it was absolutely lovely. The lakeside fire pit was also very nice. We didn’t use the outdoor shower, yet did use the adorable stove and oven...

“We had a wonderful time at this place. Extremely clean and quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Beautiful view right on the water. Had a family of ducks that would swim by and visit every evening like clockwork. Saw a few friendly seals swim by as well. Host was responsive and everything we needed was supplied in the house. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area. ”

“We stayed for a quick getaway from the city and loved all the games, water toys, etc. While it was too cold to go out on the lake, we would love to come back to use the kayaks one day! The cabin was clean and had great temperature control. So fun!”

“The room was as described and quite rustic. We could see gaps around the door and A/C unit which was fine at first, but when getting ready for bed we saw a disturbing large spider walk across the floor. I didn’t get a picture of that @$$ but my estimate is that it had a nickel/quarter sized body with some legs for the fashion runway. Long story long, we decided to sleep in the car instead of the room because of that freakishly large spider trying to provide an unrequested turndown service.”

“Cute cottage, great for dogs and kids. Lots to do, close to town if something is forgotten and home is on a great spot on the lake. Owner is quick to respond if there are any questions and the home is clean and well kept. ”

“Great place to relax and enjoy the lake. Very clean, lots of amenities. As many others have mentioned the furniture padding and mattress on the bed really need to be replaced as the furniture and bed are not very comfortable. Hopefully they will listen to their guests and make some improvements. ”
