“Stayed for two nights as a stop over whilst going homeward. Wanted to have a look around the area. Room was small but adequate. Clean with en-suite shower. Ate in the dining area of the pub both nights and enjoyed the food. Informal but friendly service by all, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Recommend a walk to the canal and then the walk to Gloucester on the tow path. It’s well paved and flat and about three miles.”

“The hotel is in a beautiful setting. The food was excellent and the service was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.”

“Excellent scenic location next to the river. Amazing breakfast choices. Evening meals were always very good and sometimes exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would hope to return.”

“Perfect location in Gloucester. Sure it’s not the most modern hotel but perfectly suitable for sleeping in. A bit smell of smoke from the street. Breakfast fine. Staff helpful.”

“Really good staff, staff very helpful, room nice and clean.”

“Comfortable accommodation with friendly professional staff.”

“Mysigt litet familjehotell, nära till Gloucester centrum där både affärer, katedralen och Gloucester Docks finns. Frukosten får man väja antingen engelsk med ägg och bacon och sånt eller mer vanlig frukost med gröt och yoghurt och sånt. Föredrar att få plocka ihop frukost själv via en buffé annars hade jag satt högsta betyg. Katedralen i Gloucester är imponerande och väl värd ett besök! Småbyarna runt The Cotswolds är magiska. ”
