“Our shepherd hut in Pinewood was spotlessly clean and refreshed every day. Staff were always on hand if needed and really helpful at checkin (the process for checking in and out was seamless). Marshmallows, skewers, logs for the indoor and outdoor wood burners, and upmarket tea bags all complimentary; only let down by basic Nescafé coffee sachets and pots of UHT milk. A small fridge would be useful to allow for proper fresh milk and keeping drinks cool. Beds were comfy and the separated bunk...

“A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future.”

“The listing just gave site information with little detail of the caravan. There was no information in the caravan at all to help with gaining hot water, heating wifi etc. The fridge had over 2 cms of ice on the freezer box which made the fridge inefficient to say the least. The caravan was very tired with many sharp edges where the covering was coming off of cupboards. I couldn’t use the wifi, the kitchen plug didn’t fit and there was no bowl. The one small saucepan was rounded on the bottom...

“I stayed in the merlin yurt which was nice and clean, comfy bed and duvet. I enjoyed the log burner as it was a novelty to me. The kitchen was basic but had everything you could need. Shop and pub 5 minute walk away. There are 3 shower/toilet combos with a great shower. A washing up area with a fridge freezer. Cleaning product was provided. No complaints at all ”

“Two hutches in a bit of forest. Mixed up on arrival ended up in the wrong one as ours was taken by someone else the day before. No hot water on the first night, luckily fixed around midday next day. Overall everything you need for a short stay. Relatively close to the coast. We had a nice stay with a few bumps.”

“The interior of the property was disappointing. Beds were not made and the pillows were very poor. The kitchen was perfect, the living room average, and the toilets were very clean and tidy. The shower space is very small, so I wouldn’t recommend it, but I understand that is a limitation of the property. The staff welcomed us well, but at checkout I had a negative experience. I asked for 15 minutes to finish my breakfast since checkout time was not yet reached, but the staff insisted on taking...

“Location…. Location …. Location! The best. I loved the babbling brook by our pod, the picnic bench just outside was a wonderful place to snack, read and meditate!”

“We had an amazing stay here. We booked the large glamping tent and loved it. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious on both mornings. They even gave our wee collie nessie a sausage and some water, which went down a treat. Couldn't fault this gem of a place and will definitely stay in the near future when visiting our relatives”
