  • Lägenheten CASA JANCA, belägen längs en lugn och charmig central gata VIA DEI FOSSI - inuti Luccas väggar intill Lucca centrum för modern konst, med utsikt över en härlig bäck, ligger i en byggnad daterad tillbaka till 1100-talet som var del av en antik medeltida fästning.

    Lägenheten ligger på bottenvåningen vilket gör den idealisk för elderlies och har egen ingång. Lägenheten ligger i stadens akvarium med utsikt över en ström: det här är ett mycket pittoreskt läge! I byggnaden bredvid lägenheten finns det skräddarsydda Lu. C.C. EN. (Lucca Center of Contemporary Art) och den berömda restaurangen inuti den heter IMBUTO (1 michelin-stjärna). Över museet fortsätter strömmen och du kan se den underbara kyrkan San Francesco med sin vita marmor romanska fasad och många fontäner. Via Fillungo (huvudgatan) samt Via Santa Croce och Amphiteathre ligger strax över hörnet.

    SAMMANSÄTTNING:
    Lägenheten har ett rymligt vardagsrum med en dubbel ny bekväm bäddsoffa för att sova 2 gäster (de gästerna har egna badrum, eftersom huset har totalt 2 badrum), ett fullt utrustat kök (diskmaskin, ugn, mikrovågsugn, brödrost , vattenkokare, amerikanska och italienska kaffebryggare och ett brett urval av köksredskap), ett förråd med tvättmöjligheter (tvättmaskin och torktumlare + strykjärn och bräda), ett sovrum med dubbelsäng med en king size-säng och ett eget badrum.

    Varje rum har luftkonditionering.

    Lägenheten är utrustad med luftkonditionering och en mycket tillförlitlig wifi-anslutning som tillhandahålls av det nationella telefonbolaget.

    Minsta vistelse är 4 nätter.

    Vinteruppvärmning debiteras för 6 euro per dag eller enligt comsuption för långtidsuthyrning.

Fabulous stay

This is our fifth stay in a Lucca Apartments and Villas property and it was, as always, perfect. The apartment is lovely, well furnished and comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. The best part though was the location. Lovely square nearby with great restaurants and bars and still only minutes walk to Fillungo. Looking forward to the next time and our thanks to all the team at LAAV.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Lucca. The apartment was lovely, spacious, clean and in a great location within walking distance of the heart of Lucca’s Centro historico. We had everything we needed and felt very relaxed & comfortable during our stay. I would heartily recommend this apartment to anyone- 5 stars from us!

Una Casa lontano da casa

Questo soggiorno mi ha fatto sentire veramente a casa, avevo tutto ciò di cui avevo bisogno e anche di più. Posizione comodissima e zona ben servita. Le istruzioni al check in sono state chiare e le comunicazioni amichevoli. Ho intenzione di ripetere l'esperienza, magari in una struttura più piccola ma gestita dallo stesso host.

Lovely Lucca

Lucca exceeded our expectations and we had a fantastic stay at the Casa Janca. The booklet supplied by the host advising of so many details was extremely helpful. Check in and out were simple. The apartment is in a great spot for getting to anywhere.

Amazing 1 Bedroom 2 bath!

Our stay here was terrific! It exceeded all our expectations. This place is in such a great location. Air conditioning in all rooms. Washer and dryer. Got some of the best sleep in the king size bed. Thanks Sonia!

Great apartment in perfect location

Lovely stay in Casa Janca

We had a lovely week stay in the apartment "Casa Janca". Well located, plenty of space for two, very clean, all the facilities one could require. We particularly appreciated having a washing machine, as we were on a month long trip. Communication was very clear and timely, and Manuel who checked us in was very friendly and efficient. A very positive experience all round.

Spacious one bedroom apartment in good location

The one bedroom apartment is accessed directly from the street using its own entrance. A bright and airy lounge welcomes you with the bedroom and well equipped kitchen directly off. The location is very good being a short ten minute walk to the main tourist areas whilst having good local restaurants and bars in a pleasant square two minutes away.

Excellent accommodation in central Lucca

Beautiful, spotless and very spacious accommodation, with 2 shower/toilets. Excellent central location but in a quieter area of Lucca. Manuel was very helpful on 2 particular occasions and we were grateful for his speedy assistance. We would highly recommend this apartment and this company for a stay in Lucca. Nothing I can think of, all excellent.

A really nice stay!

We had a really nice stay for 10 nights as a friend group in Casa Janca. There is alot to visit in Lucca and the surrounding region. If you come by car park at parcheggio mazzini, only 400m from the apartment. The check in went really smoothly with instructions and tips for restaurants and other activities. 100% recommend to book a stay in one of the Apartments of Lucca Apartments and Villas. Everything is like described and as shown on the pictures.

Very comfortable, beautiful apartment.

This is the most fantastic base from which to explore Lucca. Just a couple of minutes from the beautiful shopping streets of Lucca, it provided us with a quiet sactuary. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped. The bed was really comfortable and the info left by the host was really thorough and useful. It was a little chilly as the heaters aren't really designed to warm the large rooms but overall we wouldn't hesitate at all about returning. We loved it!

6 weeks in Lucca

we felt very comfortable and considered the apartment our second home we found the location excellent overall we were very happy insect screens on the windows would improve overall amenity. we suffered significant & painful insect bites during our stay, and we could not open the windows for fresh air without letting insects in. providing a picnic or ground blanket would be a great asset - we had several picnics on the wall, and it would have been nice to sit on the grass with a picnic blanket

A perfect stay

The accommodation more than lived up to the photos shown on line. Extremely comfortable especially the bed which in holiday rentals is often a letdown. Plenty of kitchen equipment to prepare meals if you are prepared to stay away from the restaurants. Its position is ideal on a quiet road with the very attractive stream just a few yards away. Even for us as a couple getting on in years and with arthritic problems we were able to explore with ease. Lucca is a magical city and Casa Janca was the icing on the cake. Thank you Wash basin plug does not work, especially needed when shaving. Plastic plants do attract dust and the many knickknacks must be a nightmare for the cleaners.

We loved it!

This was our return trip to Lucca after several years and we remembered this street. My husband actually bought a bag at the leather store on the corner in 2012 and was able to go back and meet the same artisan who originally helped him (and laugh at how much older they both were in the picture!). The apartment is exactly as described. The bed is comfy. While the windows are high, they allow in a ton of light. Two bathrooms were a nice touch. Well stocked kitchen and a perfect place to work remotely (and run out for a gelato between meetings!). Cost saving hint with a car - We parked at the local lot on the first and last night to have luggage access and just walked from the free lot outside of the walls (10-15 min) the rest of the time.

Casa Janco

Overall, the apartment was very good. The only concerns that we had are when we checked in the coffee maker was not cleaned. The grinds had to be emptied. The apartment is in a good location. Suggest taking a taxi to/from the train station with luggage. Areas can be rocky and may damage luggage. The water fountain was was outside of the apartment which was great to refill large water bottles. The quality of Lucca water is excellent and safe. The bed was comfortable. WiFi is good. I would stay again. It is hard to maintain the heat so there should be better quality throw blankets , one for each person. We left some supplies there but there is a super market about a 7 minute walk away.

Gorgeous space with all the conveniences

Two large baths so my wife and I spread out our own toiletries in each.. No shower curtains so be careful to aim shower head towards the back! Very chic. Living room like being at home. Large table to spread out our papers and plot our trips around Tuscany. King size bed was comfortable and closing shutters and sliding doors kept street sounds and light mostly out (busses start running right in front early in the morning, but we were usually up anyway). The washer AND electric dryer were very convenient (many places in Italy that boast washer/dryer actually offer a drying rack vs. a machine, and clothes can take as long as 36 hours to fully dry inside, so this was great). The strenuous rules for sorting trash and leaving nothing behind on exit were a bit of a pain, we had bottles out on the stoop the wrong designated day as instructions were not 100% clear. When we left we carried out our wet trash (coffee grinds, uneaten snacks, etc.) to sneak into a public waste bin. There are several restaurants with local folks nearby but the main action in Luca is a 10 - 15 minute walk - we were actually glad not to be in the middle of the Italian "evening strollers" masses! What is not "around the corner" are food stores, we had a bit of a hike to find one for wine and breakfast food. Also if you drive to Lucca the Mazzini car park is just inside the walls and should not be in the ZTL zones (hope we don't get a surprise fine months later as we understand can happen!). Don't bother with driving to find the parking authority to purchase the 50 euro "permission" for weekly/monthly rate, we did on a Sunday as instructed to on arrival by the property manager and they were closed, with limited hours on weekdays as well. The extra cost we incurred for the week (at .50 euros per hour) was only 15 euros, not worth the valuable time away from Tuscany touring to bother. Kitchen had rudimentary supplies but our main requirement was a working corkscrew and a coffeemaker, which were available. Great place to base Tuscany touring from!

It’s a great apartment!

It’s a great apartment! The listing is accurate. The location is reasonably close to everything within the city walls. Also, the Mazzini parking garage is conveniently close by for those arriving by car. If (when) we return to Lucca, we would love to stay here again!

Fabulous place in a great location. Easy to find, just a short walk from the train station, and convenient for exploring the old city. Beautifully restored with all the amenities you need for your stay.
