“We had a great Christmas week staying at the cottage. The cottage was cosy with the log burner and provided for a very comfortable stay. The split of bedrooms worked well for us, we stayed on the top floor with my wife's family on the bottom. There's a large well stocked Kitchen with a big table for us all to sit round. “I stayed here for a few days with my dog, the accommodation is small but i think the pictures reflect this so i knew this beforehand. The location is great, 10 minutes drive from Hartland Quay and approx 30 minutes to appledore/westward ho. After being out all day the hot tub was a nice place to relax!”

“We had a wonderful family holiday here. We were a group of 8, three generations from 82 to 5 years old. We have stayed regularly in north Devon for our family holiday and this has been the best property we have stayed at. It is spacious and well maintained. “Loved the property and the surroundings the weather was typical English but plenty of walking through the woods so stayed dry even when it rained. People had mentioned damp smell it was hardly noticeable one thing to be aware of is the drive it’s steep off of the road so if you have a low fronted vehicle it catches.”

“The cottage was rustic and gave a good experience of old cottage living. The customer clean-up was unexpected with having to take care of all bedding and linens.
