Everything is clean and the location is central to the main street in Vernazza. If you have bad knees or are not a hiker, I don't recommend this place. The kitchen/food prep space can only accommodate 1 person max! If you have 4 people staying, there is no "common area" inside unless you want to be amongst your friends belongings. “There were 125 rather rough steps from the street to the front door of the apartment. It makes it difficult to bring up one carry on bag and a backpack if you are in the 65 age range. The steps are not well lighted in the evening. ”
