“Although The Lodge is very small, it truly has everything you need. Its rural situation is very peaceful — we found it deeply relaxing to sit out in the garden in the evenings. There is plenty to explore locally: pretty towns and beautiful countryside. I have no hesitation in recommending this place. The only small downside for us here was that a lot of the local roads are single track, driving on which we do not enjoy! ”

“Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size.”
