“We loved everything about our stay in Mafeking. The house, the garden and Benenden are all beautiful. Mafeking is a great choice for familys, there are plenty of toys and a lovely playground nearby. We extended our stay because we loved it that much and had a very friendly and accommodating experience with the costumer service. Next summer holiday we will be coming back and are really looking forward to visit Mafeking again. Absolutely recommended.”

“Lovely hosts. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, don’t worry if you’ve forgotten anything! Has been decorated since photographs were taken so now more country cottage than Scandinavian. Terrace and outside of property very dusty but it is a farm yard and the weather was extremely hot. “A large well equipped cottage in a small rural village. Access was difficult due to local road closures, however parking was good. There was an excellent pub nearby but no local food shop. The kitchen was very large and well equipped as was the lounge. There was a nice garden with country views. The patio decking needed some repair.There were two bathrooms, one upstairs for 3 of the bedrooms and an en suite off the downstairs bedroom. “The house was not very clean and is in need of decorating and updatingI did not feel comfortable using the shower due to dirt around tray and in the grout / tilesThe kitchen is looking very old and there were stains on the walls, top of the fridge and inside the cupboard that houses the cooking equipment whilst the cupboard for the plates, cups and glasses is bowed and does not look safe.There were also stains on the washing machine fasciaThe ‘porch’ is also water stained inside ”
