“Needed a place to stay for a weekend of fishing, this cabin fit the bill with the marina that I wanted to fish out of. The cabin has a nice layout, and was sufficient for what I needed. The cleaning person claimed I had a dog in the cabin, and left dirty dog dishes with hair "all over the place" and I received an added cleaning fee with out first checking with me. There was no dog, and the checkout list was followed to a T. I will not stay with this "Host" again”

“We absolutely loved our stay here! The location is perfect: Right next to downtown Cornucopia (so you can find basic items easily), and just minutes from some of the coolest trails in the area. We stayed with two of us and our two pups. The pups adored the cabin and settled right in. The cabin is really adorable and cozy, very clean and updated, and has everything you need (including a well-equipped kitchen). It was easy to communicate with Erin. We hiked two nearby trails, the Lakeshore...

“The beach on this property is amazing and cannot be beat! We spent hours enjoying the beautiful view and nice sand. The house is a manufactured home, but it was very clean and comfortable for our family of four. It also has a large yard and two fire pits (one at the beach) to enjoy. The outdoor shower was a fun perk as well. I would definitely book it again.”

“The cabin was exactly what we needed for a weekend away! The area overlooking the water was our favorite part with views of sunset and sunrise. The place has a well stocked kitchen with just the right amount of stuff to prepare meals. The owners were great to work with! We left behind an item that they even shipped out to us which we were so appreciative of. Book this cabin! You won’t regret it.”

“We (my dog and I) thoroughly enjoyed our days at Weidel Cottage. Took walks in the evening to take pictures of the sunset, found the Madeline Museum quite interesting, and enjoyed our morning coffee taking in the view of Lake Superior,”
