“The cottage is darling. Perfect amount of space for 2 people....but, the listing needs to be corrected. I will premise my concerns by stating the owner noted a correction at the very bottom of the listing ...so be sure to read the ENTIRE listing. The photos shown show a well maintained and manicured property. The property is overgrown with trash laying about. There is no washer/dryer available and the fireplace is not to be used. And most important - the front door does not properly lock. ...

“It was a beautiful place, relaxing, great for a group to cook, sit on a porch, next to the deep water of The Shenandoah River. Great beds, kitchen was easy for several people cooking at the same time”

It was very clean, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable - even had nice toilet paper, which is weird to mention, but so many places we’ve stayed at recently are gross 1-ply. Check in was a breeze and checkout was very easy. 10/10 recommend to a friend. ”

“We had a great stay at this cabin! Host was responsive and gave many ideas of what to do. The cabin was cozy and it was a perfect stay! A must see is the caverns about 20-30 min away. We drove a Subaru Outback suv and had no problem with the road going up to the cabin, if it snows it can be slippery and icy going down, drive very slow. Overall 5 star stay! Thanks ”
