Tastes Freez is a spot that my mother used to take me too when I was child. I stumbled upon one on the way back from a camping trip in the Shenandoah. I was so in shock, that I think I ordered one of everything on the menu. If you ever come across one - a double cheeseburger with a milkshake will make you smile.

Early Mountain Vineyards is hands down one of the best in Virginia. It has a wonderful setting with large outside seating area, gas fireplace, live music and incredible view. Cozy cabin right on the lake! You can’t get any closer to the water than this. Hoping to stay here again when the weather is warmer so we can go swimming. There is a fire pit right next to the lake, as well as a dock. This stay is perfect for anyone wanting to connect with the outdoors.
