“This was a perfect retreat during our roadtrip to get away from cities and roads. We already had a good experience with Kentucky parks, and this just confirmed our view. For what you get out of the stay it was not that expensive. There is a small pool with sunchairs, which were at most half occupied. “Our hotel room looked nothing like the pictures online. It had original red carpet that was so worn it was bare in places. The furniture was all knicked and scratched up. The freezer wasn’t clean, had trash in it, and had ice build up. The shower smelled when you turned on the water. The carpet was dirty, they don’t move furniture and clean behind it. The white door to the outside was so dirty you could see the handprints of previous people who had stayed there and there was a crack so wide when...

“By accident, I hit the smoking room button and when I asked to change the room, he told me that it would be more for a non-smoking. The room was disgusting. It smelled worse than a dead ashtray.
