“I stayed at the Ameristar East Chicago for 21 nights over 11 stays in fall 2025, travelling for business. It doesn't have everything (breakfast) and is in an odd location. But it was half or less than hotels in Hyde Park, had free parking, big rooms, was always clean and quiet, and the front desk staff was awesome. Shout out to Danica, who was not only a joy but who directed me to the rooms with the best wifi.”

“We booked this hotel for one night based only on previous positive reviews on Hotels.com. We found out that all good that was said by others was true.
We used the hotel's busines centre computer to order tickets for an event in Chicago, but it turned out that we could only pring e-mails, not PDF files. Panic! Did we just waste over 400 USD? The lovely ladys Tammy and Paula did everything they could to help us with our problem, and after a while they succeeded in printing our tickets. Service...

“Very nice and accommodating stay. We were visiting family and the lobby area was a “homey” enough place to sit, relax and play games. Pool area was nice but got really loud with very few people, and no hot tub. ”

“Everyone was super sweet and kind! Margo was a gem as was the woman running the breakfast! Room was so spacious and clean! My kids loved it. Breakfast was SO good! Plenty of options. Work out area was really nice and had plenty of weights. And access to the hotel was easy as it was right off the freeway. Will definitely stay here again”
