“Everything was great as usual. I just wanted to let you know that the heating remote did not work well. We also could not find a local news/weather channel on TV. That might be nice to include instructions on how to find that, if possible. Thank you and we look forward to staying there again. ”

“We stayed for the night for our 11th wedding anniversary. Holly is an amazing host, as soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed and given a tour of Cowboy town along with how it came to be. Then shown our cabin which was so beautiful. It was quiet and private, there was a wedding the next day and even the preparation for that did not interfere with our stay. We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice private escape. Thank you Holly”

“We really like this hotel and have stayed there a number of times. My only complaint: there is a smell in the lobby that is like sewage. I mentioned this to staff. One said others have mentioned it. Thank god our room didn’t the smell. I was in town for a party for my mom and I told friends to stay there. They too said “why is there a sewer odor?” Corporate has got to address this!!!”

“In the summer, this place is probably great as the other reviews have indicated. However, I would strongly recommend not staying here in the winter. The temperature fluctuated too much to be comfortable, the lighting is glaring blue fluorescent overheads with no bedroom lamps in either room. The bed was made with a top sheet and a summer quilt with no extra blankets in the building. When we asked for more blankets, the owner brought one old throw blanket for our family of five. “House was exactly as described. Welcoming and clean. We were there off season and filled our needs completely. Quiet. Reasonably close to many amenities. Shares parking area with store- employee was exceptionally helpful. I would stay again should the need arise.”

“If you want to camp and have a camping experience, then this is the perfect spot! Lots of animals to see between the owner's horses and cats. The kitchen and bathroom are both shared spaces, not with the owners, but with the multiple other cabins on the property. So you are not super secluded from other people. We went in October, and the outdoor shower did not have hot water, so it was a rather cold shower. Holly, the owner, did say that they are going to replace the water heater soon, but...
