“My stay in Buddha was terrible and staff was also not good they charged me a lot for even small things. There were insects in the room even in the bathroom. Whole night I didn’t sleep because of the condition of room. Please don’t get this motel you can have better one with the same price. They charged me a lot of if I was aware of it I can get a 4 star hotel in that price.”

“Clean modest motel across the Tobermory Harbor from the ferry dock. Room was quiet and parking was easy. No wifi in the room, but the property warned us about that in advance.”

“I had a very nice time at Sweet Retreat! Some recommendations/feedback: a different universal remote (I could not get the buttons to work when using the dvd player), provide or inform renters that they need to bring oven mitts (I could not find any) and consider adding the wifi password to the info sheet by the door (could only get the wifi password by using wifi/data to access the Expedia app). Overall, it was a very nice week!”

We didn’t saw anyone from staff, but got a chance to be greeted by the owner during check-inn & it was really great to know about the places to wonder in tobermory, so that you just need to go ahead for it. The property has the best lake view from patio & private beach section, where you could have a memorable time with your loved ones.”

WE HAD A LOVELY TWO-NIGHT STAY AND ARE CURRENTLY EXPLORING THE OPTION OF HEADING...

“The room on this stay was in need of a bit of TLC. The room a week ago was much better. One concern was that the dead bolt didn’t work. However it is good value for what we paid so we would stay again. Beds were comfortable. AC worked well. It was a quiet place. Staff very friendly.”

“Room had a window air conditioner that was loud but sufficient to keep the room cool. Bathroom had some mold along the baseboards and the toilet leaked water on the floor. It’s a typical Ontario road side dumpy motel. The upside was the restaurant across the street that makes excellent home cooked meals and the closeness to TH.”
