We live in Hatteras and took our boat up to Wanchese to run some trips in late August - there was space for all of us who work on the boat and then some for our guest leaders who helped us out. The layout is spectacular and there is so much space to spread out and relax or work! “Great place and perfect for a guy to get away from it all, or take all the wildlife found in this area. Well-located near Phelps Lake and the Pungo Unit. It is isolated, so a visit to the grocery store on the way in will save you time if you think you will be going out for groceries later. I thoroughly enjoyed Birthday House. Sent 4 messages the day i booked and one the morning of arrival and didn't receive a response to my specific inquiries until close to check in. Very disappointing experience. ”
