“This is our second stay. My husband and I love this house! It is absolutely peaceful. The dogs love it. We like to go to just unplug and spend time together. The only thing missing was a plug for the tub.”

“Overall excellent stay. Description of house was perfect. Tiny space was spotless! Outdoor space beautiful. Everything needed was available. Chilly time of year and heater worked great. Decor was so welcoming. Surprisingly quiet for being on someone’s property. Close to town.Bed was very comfortable. Only negative comments I would add is that there were a lot of vehicles on the property and the parking space got tight a few times. My husband backs in well but needed a few k turns…it did get...

“Our 2nd visit to Surf Sounds. A nice and affordable place to stay. We bring our bikes for short 1-2 mile rides on the quiet neighborhood streets. The garage easily fits our car + bike + bike rack. Leslie the owner helped out quickly when the internet went down temporarily. We look forward to our 3rd stay in the future”

“Stay was awesome. Management was quick to answer and fix any of our problems. It was very open and roomy.”

“Shower head was not operational like it should have been. Toilet is very lose and wobbly. The big white towels smell like a wet dog. Otherwise the rest of the house was great. You might want to put that the driveway is very difficult if you plan on pulling a trailer and vehicle into, with the sharp turn into the driveway.”

The home itself was beautiful, and a perfect place for a coast getaway. It was within walking distance of Old Town Florence, and just a few minutes drive from Honeyman State Park. The well equipped kitchen, the very comfortable king size bed in master bedroom the selection of tv choices the relaxed atmosphere of the house. “Beautiful house in a remote and quiet location right on the water. Only issue was attempting to contact the manager, but thats because there is no service at the house, so not their fault. Access to the water from the house is just a few steps from the backyard.”
