“We had an excellent time staying at Muir Beach. Used the cottage as home base while visiting with our son in San Francisco. Easy drive to/from the city. Walked the beach nearly every day and even had a campfire on the beach one evening. The Pelican Inn has great food and we enjoyed hiking Mt. Tam. Yes, the outdoor shower is a must. Recommend!”

“It was voted by my family as the best VRBO we have stayed at. Everything was immaculate. The photos don't do it justice. High ceilings, gorgeous accordion sliding windows. We were lucky with perfect weather and had the windows open and the kids playing in the yard. Outdoor shower was a huge hit!”

“Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and sofa. Good for a gathering of friends and family. Marvelous view of the ocean. Only thing to watch out for is that the front door closes shut and there’s no way to leave the door unlocked so be careful not to get locked out. That happened to us but fortunately the management was available to give us the spare key lock box code. So good communication. Also there are lots of small burrs in the foliage around house so be careful to check dog paws if you...

“Great property with terrific views. We really liked that the kitchen had great appliances and was fully equipped. The hot tub is a major plus, especially if you get to enjoy it during sunset. ”
