“This property is beautiful and the house is wonderful. It is very important that anyone who stays here is aware of the steepness of the driveway! My car could not make it up. I had read the reviews that warned me and I just thought they were over reacting. They were not. I had to haul my stuff in from half way up because my car could not make it any farther up. “The Huckleberry Cabin was very cozy and nicely decorated. It was rustic and true to its original build in the 1800’s with modern upgrades. Walking through the front door was like stepping back in time. Great place to stay to get off the grid and reconnect with nature or unplug from the computer, but also close enough to town if you need supplies. ”

“My partner, and and our 17 yo daughter enjoyed a week at this cabin. The kitchen was well-appointed, the living room and front porch was very comfortable. The view and access to the New River was fabulous. Even two neighborhood dogs came by for multiple visits.”
