“It was exactly what we wanted. It had a small kitchenette with utensils for making breakfast. Bathroom was big, clean, good strong water flow. The bed was super comfortable and perfect for two. The pullout bed was good as well. Access to the flat was simple.”

The owner’s representatives at Pickaflat were not only kind and understanding but extremely accommodating and patient to answer our questions. “Laura is a great host. The apartment is as described. All the amenities you need are provided. We had to work a couple days and there were no issues with the internet. Ideal location to walk to Le Marais, Latin Quarter and great restaurants close by. Gare the Lyon is about 10 minutes walk. There is a Metro station 2 minutes walk. The communication with the host was amazing and responded quickly. I will definitely stay there again next time I come to Paris.”

“Beautiful flat, although the five flights of stairs to get there were a lot. I'm told most Paris buildings typically have elevators. Not this one. So that was difficult. Otherwise, it was fine but I would recommend the owners stock the place for appropriate needs. For a place as expensive as this one, it should have dishwasher and laundry soap, at a minimum, and maybe some sugar and espressos. Also, please invest in pillows as those provided cannot be called pillows -- they are flat as pancakes...

“L’appartement est propre et fonctionnel. Les propriétaires sont sympas et souples sur les horaires d’arrivée car avec le train nous arrivions à 22:30 mais cela n’a pas posé de problème. Seule chose à faire attention les escaliers pour monter à la mezzanine ne sont pas fait pour tout le monde. Mais pour nous tout était bien.”

“The location is outstanding for visitors to Paris, on a fairly quiet little side street connecting to two busier, tourist-oriented streets selling almost everything we wanted. Easy walk to metro, RER and several of the best museums. Neighbors were usually quiet with a few 4 a.m. exceptions. The apartment is not big or fancy, but for this neighborhood, at this price, it’s great! There is a tiny kitchen with fridge, 2-burner stove, sink, a few basic cooking implements, and 2 place settings;...

“Quaint wonderful building with five floors. We stayed on the fifth floor at the very top. The apartment was just lovely, well lit and spacious enough for two people. The space was well equipped with all that one could possibly need for a stay. Climbing up to the fifth floor with luggage was challenging and quite a workout. However, this would not deter us from staying again...we would just pack a little lighter. Thankfully, my husband and I are in good shape and were able to manage. Loved our...
