“Overall a nice stay. Overall the hotel needs a facelift…everything is a bit tired. While “real” keys are quaint, they are a pain. We had to leave early and hoped to grab coffee before we departed (6am) but there was no coffee…and the coffee shop that was open was too far (walking and we had a deadline to ferry a boat). Bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower wall tiles had mildew. Staff was really nice though and the lobby and fireplace were cozy. I would stay again if I’m back in town. ”

“The Heron is a very well maintained vintage building with the creature comforts and customer service to entice me to want to return for a longer visit. “We very much enjoyed our stay at Baker's Acres. The cottage/barn was well-appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. My husband enjoyed watching March Madness each evening using our HBO account on the large TV. Everyone was so friendly in Langley. We were able to eat outside with our pug at a coffee house/bookstore and later in the day at a tap house with a Polynesian food truck. Our dog loved the off-leash dog beach by Useless Bay. L. Evans”

“The location and home was great. Saw deer and herons on the property. No mosquitoey was fantastic. Only thing that was a concern was some of the carpets were stained or dirty. I took pictures in case I was going to be charged but not too concerned. If you have a chance it is a nice be place to stay. Thank you”

“This is a really sweet cabin with a beautiful mix of antique and modern furnishings. It was clean and well-stocked. The time spent indoors was lovely. However, we had also hoped to spend time outdoors on the property and walk down to the water or to the state park, but found that the huge population of mosquitos in the yard made that unappealing. We actually ran between the car and the home to avoid being mobbed by the mosquitos. I'm not sure what, if anything, the owners could do about this....
