“The property was prepared, very thoughtful and had everything you could think of for a wonderful beach Island stay. The only downside was cable because I’m addicted to TV and I would’ve appreciated at least a smart TV that I could connect my own Netflix. ”

“Classic Martha’s Vineyard beach bungalow with some extra comforts. This place was perfect for my partner and I who appreciate simplicity and classic style. The house was cozy and well equipped with everything we needed to cook for ourselves and relax. The house is a very short walk from ink well beach and from all the various downtown offerings of oak bluffs. It’s also very close to the historic cottage village and we loved taking evening strolls around the area. I recommend the house to couples...

“My teenage daughter and i stayed for a week- the property was perfect for us. She loved the bed up in the loft. the house had all the amenities we needed- some we hadn't thought of- an umbrella for the beach for example. The bed and futon couch were both comfortable, the linens were comfy and clean- the location of the cottage is perfect- tony's market down the street, inkwell beach within walking distance, as is downtown oak bluffs. And the washer and dryer allow for light packing!”

“This property exceeded our expectations. The house was exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained, the rooms were large, and the very high ceilings added to the feeling of spaciousness. The bathroom was outstanding - whirlpool tub, walk in shower, double sinks, separate toliet compartment. We had a rainy day and really enjoyed the gas fireplace. “The Cottage on Oak Lane was a superb property and host experience for both my wife and I. Everything was clean and prepared upon entry. Having (quality) towels and linens provided was a huge plus. The grill is older but works perfectly. The dirt road Oak Lane is a bit long but extremely well maintained, low travelled, and provides excellent privacy. Our communication with the host gets an A and we used the in house guide to source several excellent activities. My wife and I would rent here again...

“Great house with enjoyable blend of spaciousness and cozy appeal. Kitchen was well appointed and great overall aesthetic, layout - roomy for 5. Upstairs suite very open and lots of windows in house. 5 min drive to BREATHTAKING reservation on beach ($20 to park for non members and well worth it), peaceful Japanese gardens nearby too. There's a super cute 500ft ferry ride ($35 round trip) to get to and from this location so plan for food accordingly!”

“The property is just as cute an convenient as advertised. It was our first time bringing our dog on vacation, and he loved the fenced-in yard. (Note for pet owners, he could get out to the driveway if he tried.) The sunset and sunrise walks were amazing, especially with the nature preserves on the road. Beds were very comfortable. We loved all the little touches the owners provide. If you like nature and don't mind some short walks, this is the place. We also loved rhe history and backstory. ”

“The cottage was centrally located with a short walk to town. We rented EBikes and were able to experience Oak Bluffs and Edgartown - we had an amazing trip and really enjoyed our accommodations. Jessica and Mike were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend it!”
