âStaying at the Taber Inne & Suites is a bit like travelling back in time... I was recommended a more centrally located hotel in Mystic, but opted for this location a bit more in the outskirts of the town. Very peaceful, good parking, easy to locate and a very short walk into the center! There is a small coffe shop (Nana's) very close by and a few small eating spots (more downtown). Parking was outside my room (no 15) and reception a few doors down. Spacious, great wifi, ok bathroom, door to back...
âThis place was a 12/10. A cute little inn right in downtown Mystic that was walkable to anything you could possibly need. The staff was great at both the inn and the attached restaurant, The Shipwright's Daughter. The building we stayed in did have musty smelling carpet in the hallways, uneven floors, and we had to climb the stairs to our room, none of which bothered us but could be a potential deal-breaker for some. We would definitely consider staying here again if we make it back up to...
âThis was a very pleasant surprise and a gem. The proprietors are artists and each room is unique, filled with special objects or art and furniture. The wonderful aroma of the gorgeous wood floors and fireplace transport you to a place calmness and serenity. â
âThe showers could use a little more water pressure and the rugs could be a lil cleaner. Overall the staff is very friendly. It is clean and the beds were very comfortable. Very convenient for the area attractions. â
âThe House of 1833 is a beautiful old home with an amazing collection of antiques. It is surrounded by old English style gardens. In late September we were a bit too early for fall colors. The owner is delightful and helpful and the food was wonderful! â
âAlthough we did not see anyone, we had specific directions on how to enter both the house and our room. Very clean, updated and overall ver nice.â
âWe've stayed here before and for the most part the service was EXCELLENT. One hiccup our first night was the only issue we had and Joe was more than able to resolve it for us.â
