âSuch a hidden gem! Loved the view and peacefulness of the property. The unit was decorated and stocked perfectly. Very spacious. My son loved seeing the train behind the property go by. Enjoyed our stay with our two young children and will return next year. â
âStaying at the Taber Inne & Suites is a bit like travelling back in time... I was recommended a more centrally located hotel in Mystic, but opted for this location a bit more in the outskirts of the town. Very peaceful, good parking, easy to locate and a very short walk into the center! There is a small coffe shop (Nana's) very close by and a few small eating spots (more downtown). Parking was outside my room (no 15) and reception a few doors down. Spacious, great wifi, ok bathroom, door to back...
âThis Holiday Inn has been a go to on the way to Cape Cod. We love its location and convenience to the aquarium and seaport as well. Some things are starting to show signs of aging but overall great stay for overnight travel. â

- most of all, the toilet should be a comfort height, not one that is very difficult for an older person, like me, to use comfortably.
For my taste, there is not enough creamer for 4 cups of coffee. (1 each per cup is too little creamer).
Otherwise, the room was great.â
âThe beds and pillows are comfortable. There is ample parking. The people working at the hotel are super friendly. Shahid went above and beyond to correct a few issues I had with the room like a drain stopper and iron. This hotel is in the same parking lot as the Mystic Diner that has a great atmosphere and great food. Across the street is the Old Mystic Village shops which you can walk over to. I was planning to visit other parts of CT, but added an extra day because it was such a nice area. â
âThe hotel was clean and the staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was great-lots of options available for either a quick bite or a sit down meal. The pool area is small, but clean and well maintained. If we come back, I would stay here again :)â
