“From the moment I arrived, I knew this would be a unique (in the best way) experience. There is no grand entrance or elaborate lobby, but the building itself is impressive and fits naturally into its park setting. The location does mean there are no restaurants or conveniences within walking distance. They make up for that lack with ample trails to get your heartbeat up. I can understand the absence of a pool, but given the colder Washington temperatures, a hot tub would have been a welcome...

“Friendly staff very helpful”

“Lovely Hotel - Helpful Staff. But room had sound issues - paper thin walls; flimsy bathroom doors (lack of privacy), extra loud A/C. Add to that the person experiencing a mental health challenge yelling loudly at 7:00am (on a weekend) in the alley outback. Had trouble checking-in due to cars stacking up out front awaiting valet. And a "private event" in the Bar that first evening - Isn't there a room for that? And somebody on staff wears way too much perfume. Probably one and done.”

“The property was in a great location with wonderful staff, but for the price not the greatest. Rooms were okay, rips in the couches and bedding. Pool is really enclosed and dingy. Mold inside the hot tub. Place needs a refresh.”

“I'd give this place a 9/10, I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Seattle again. The room is great and had everything I needed (and more - I never even used the stove). It had a fridge, cutlery, microwave, toasters and other kitchen tools that I barely even touched. The TV system was also top notch with a large variety of streaming services and regular TV. The Ballard area is a far cry from the at-times chaotic downtown Seattle, it is a calm neighbourhood with great restaurants,...

“Loved this place! We booked a room that seemed to be more geriatric friendly, saw there were rooms with a jacuzzi in them and kindly asked to upgrade. The staff was more than willing, they were kind, and overall great communicators. The place was clean, the AC/heat worked great, everything was 10/10.”

“I had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff was courteous. The temperature of the room was adjustable. A grocery store, restaurants, and bus stops were within easy walking distance. The staff gave me a firm pillow, after I mentioned that the ones on the bed were too squishy.”
