“We could certainly tell the owners take great pride in their property by the way the cabin is furnished and being extremely clean. Our only issue was the unexpected close neighbor who used loud fowl language at his dog that was chained up close by. Was a bit uncomfortable sitting on the porch with a person living within 10 feet of the cabin in a small trailer that btw blocked the view of Mt. Scott. “Medicine Park was a beautiful/friendly place and the Easy Rider cabin was a perfect location. During our weekend stay we experienced the beautiful walkway along Medicine Creek; delicious coffee at Willows Heritage Farm Cafe, delicious late night coffee at Riverside Cafe, walking the Jed Johnson Tower Trail, the Holy City, driving to the top of Mount Scott, seen the interesting exhibits at the Medicine Park Aquarium; ate at the Old Plantation and Tu Famila Mexican Restaurant. “The Eagles Nest Cabin was cozy, yet not crowded. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. We enjoyed sitting outside with our coffee in the mornings and nice walks in the neighborhood. Our hosts seemed to have thought of every thing a guest might want or need - games and puzzles for inside days, outside games for nice days. It was a great jump off point for exploring the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. We enjoyed our stay very much.”

“We visited this property to celebrate our son’s first birthday. He absolutely loved exploring the home and had the best time going on adventures around Medicine Park and the refuge. My husband and I have stayed at other properties in Medicine Park over the years and this was our absolute favorite! The house was clean and nicely decorated. It was walking distance from town but also gave a feeling of seclusion. I would highly recommend this property and stay here again in the future! ”
