“Lovely cottage, super clean and everything you could imagine was provided. Kitchen was well equipped, and so was the bathroom with toiletries provided. Great that breakfast was provided too. Private garden with comfortable seating. Able to park outside for loading and unloading then moved to an off road car park just down the road. A great aqua sports centre is literally just down the road, we wished we had time for more, because there were so many activites we could have done there. The village...

“Very well appointed and located - pretty wrap around garden with sun at different times of day- close to jetty where grandsons loved crabbing and yummy unpretentious seafood restaurants.Only reservation for some could be 2 flights of steep stairs to 2 of 3 bedrooms with only bathroom and loo downstairs— but cottage dates from 1575 so don’t expect en-suites! - what you do get is character and comfort. ”

“we have a lovely time, communicaiton was good, the property was nice, there was an extra snug at the back of the garden, great for teens. We had all we needed to stay, the communal area was very nice, there is a patio and garden too. We were able to park with 2 cars. It was only a few minutes walk from the shop and from the riverfront.”

“The property itself was great, very well equipped, comfortable and has a great view of the river. The information left for us was vey useful and we took advantage of the pizzas at the nearby pub which were excellent. The only down side is the parking. We parked in the designated space but other people park in places which block the roadway or make getting out difficult. Unfortunately the property owner does not have any control over these inconsiderate people but it is something to be aware of...

“I greatly enjoyed the combination of comfort, beautiful Yurt interior and outdoor living for 4 days. The wood burner gets the Yurt very cosy in a short while if it is chilly. Charlie was very helpful and considerate. There is some noise from the passing road but the views and secluded position more than make up for that. I would happily return.”

“This property was basic but perfectly comfortable and in a stunning location! The lane to the property was very over geown and unfortunately my husbands car (which has low clearance) was unable to get down it. But the owner soon dorted an alternative for us. The neighbours ford focus had bo problems so i would say this wont be a problem for most! Access down to views over the estuary and walks from the house was great. No wifi but perfectly good signal for 4g - or a good excuse to go off grid....

“My Friends and I stayed at Cosgrove Cottage over the weekend just gone, and it was nothing short of magical. The setting is simply beautiful, right on the edge of the Forest. The marketing photos do not do it justice, you have to see it to believe it. The presentation of the actually property was immaculate and the Owners were very possibly the nicest people I have ever met. Warm, welcoming and extremely accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The Tour of the Grounds was informative but...

"Bra hotell med trevlig personal, standarden är lite lägre men ändå rent och fräscht Frukosten kunde ha lite mer utbud annars är vi nöjda Lite svårt att få tag på taxi "

"Ett hotell som tyvärr är på dekis. Det som en gång var ett charmigt hotell är numera inte underhållet, allmänt slitet och sunkigt, skräpigt och skitiga toaletter i hotellets allmänna delar, personal som är mer intresserade av att kolla i sina mobiler och ta rökpauser än att se till att hotellet är rent, glas, koppar, tallrikat etc undanplockade från borden. Välj ett annat hotell!"
