Cute Cabin on Bald Eagle Creek

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful and romantic cottage sitting right next to Bald Eagle Creek. Seems very secluded when you're here but not far from town. Also you will be half an hour from State College (Penn State football) and half an hour from Williamsport (Little League World Series). You can fish right off of the deck overlooking the creek or enjoy a kayak or canoe adventure!

Visit Bald Eagle State Park only 10 miles away! Plenty of hiking, fishing, & boating or just relax on the beach!

The space
This is a nice little studio type getaway. Great access to Bald Eagle Creek for kayaking or fishing. If you enjoy golf the back side of Clinton Country Club is right across the creek. You'll need to drive approximately 2 miles to get to the clubhouse

Guests have access to the entire property!!
Other things to note
There is a microwave in the cupboard by the fridge. The toaster oven is available for baking needs.

Property is on the 2nd floor, accessed by side steps. Overlooks fishable river.

We welcome pets! It is your responsibility to insure clean up for pets and please keep them off sofas and beds.

This was such a beautiful little place. Very clean. The owner was friendly. There was a lot of fun things left around to find like board games and binoculars to watch the birds. All the beds were cozy and I thought the decorations were very well done and inviting. I am sad to see that it's for auction. I would have loved to come again in spring or fall so that we could kayak and sit on the porch swing some more.

the cabin was indeed cute everything was nice and clean went canoeing on the creek and had a fire in the fire pit. lucked out by having a couple 70 degree days in october. went to Penn Caves nearby and boated thru cavern and then did the bus tour thru animal park

Cute cabin with the essentials on the end of a quiet street. Stayed here for a Penn State game and was perfect - closest area to the stadium with nearby restaurants etc. Cabin was decorated with seasonal decor and AC worked well. Similar to other feedback was a bit buggy outside (they did leave bug spray) and the loft twin beds were more cots and not super comfortable but doable for a short stay.

Good for what we needed, good location with close proximity to Bald Eagle State Park. The location was very buggy, which is expected but I do wish there was better solutions for when doors needed to be opened, etc. We also opted to bring bottled water, which based on the color of the water out of the faucets felt like a good choice. I did not check ahead of time if the water was safe to drink and it’s certainly no fault of the host, but just want to be transparent for future guests. It was great to have access to the water, we had a great morning canoe paddle which was lovely. The fan and air conditioning did a great job keeping the cabin a comfortable temperature all day and night. Overall, it was a nice stay. Nothing fancy but just what we needed for a short overnight to hike and enjoy Bald Eagle State Park.

Wonderfull little lake front cabin

Peaceful and quiet.. very relaxing with a few thoughtfull amenities. They left us wood for the fire pit and they had kayaks, a canoe, and a bunch of games and books. The creek flows right past the balcony. We felt like we were miles away from everything and yet the busy town of mill hall and lock haven are just 10 min away.

Very nice little place. Clean. The only trouble we ran into was that the "futons" are more like small "cots". My son and I visited the area to fish local streams. he is 25. I had the double bed. he was not comfortable in the small cot.Other wise, it was good. He didn't sleep well and it at least let me keep up with him for the weekend on the streams.

Fishing trip

Nice cozy cabin. Close to amenities but very private setting. Nice views of mountains and stream. Close to fishing. Good jump off point to local fishing in both Clinton and Centre counties.

Cozy Cabin

Cabin is cozy and comfortable and ideal for the night stay after the PSU game.  Very clean and well equiped.  Pull down steps for the loft area could be a little tricky for older folks/young children but not an issue for us.  Very nice location along the water.  Would definitley stay here again.  Thank you for sharing your cozy cabin with us!

Fishing trip

Cabin was great for our stay. Quiet, clean good shower. Rainy days were a bit cold and damp due to no heat in living room. Had to use extra quilts from upstairs beds. Only suggestion is a queen bed versus double when a couple of adults stay . Caught a small mouth off the dock. We enjoyed being on the river Thank you.

Very comfortable

The cabin is in a nice location right along the river. Stores and restaurants are nearby and there is enough space for a couple or a group. Would stay again.
