“Everything was very good, the room was very spacious, the only negative was that as it was the off season just about everything in Snowshoe is closed, there was one Restaurant, The Junction, that was open and then the Foxfire Grille was open for just two days as I was leaving, none of the food establishments were open at Corduroy.”

“Maintenance is lacking on the entire property. The bathroom mirror had a nice saying (not family friendly) on it that showed up vividly when steamed over which happened easily since the fan was useless. ”

“This is a beautiful property. I stayed in the lodge and it was quiet and comfortable. It had a main kitchen where you were set up with a coffee pot, filters and coffee, a keurig (bring your own cups) and basically a full kitchen with all appliances available to cook a meal and a table to eat at and read the paper. . The entrance lobby is a big beautiful room and a back porch. The restaurant is good and the staff warm and friendly The fly shop is where you check in and they couldn’t be more...

“Loved the decorations in our studio.Pool was lovely, outside pool heated to perfect temp.Easy 5 minute ride to the village.Quiet area at this time of year. They do have a restaurant at Silver Creek but did not stay open late in day.”

“Not as represented”

This lodge was set apart from most others so had a bit of a private feel, nice and quiet, and honestly didn't have time to explore more of the village areas, which I'm sure are quite busy during winter. Nice views from the 4th floor on up. We toured the Eastern part of WV,...

“Muy bien”

“This is a terrible hotel. The room smelled VERY bad like mold/mildew. Really nasty. The ceiling had patches on it. The bathroom exhaust sounded like a jet engine and it came on with the light so not using it wasn’t an option. There is a trip hazard on the sidewalk going to the door. The toilet seat looked like it was 30 years old. I couldn’t wait til morning to get the heck out of there. I don’t need fancy but this is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in and cost more than a Comfort Inn I stayed...
