“This place is great. Not for it's facilities, but for the honesty, kindness and professionalism of it owner Anska. The bungalow rooms are very simple, with a/cand shower, clean an comfortable and cooectly priced. There is very good food served for breakfast and evening meals if you want them. Anska will take you in his jeep or tuc-tuc to any of the marvelous sites in the area and also do jeep safaris into the local parks to see elephants and other fauna. All at reasonable prices. “The hotell is placed in lovelly surrondings with the lake as a beautiful background. Big breakfeast with everything you could wish for. Rooms are big and clean. Don't be suprised if you see monkies in the garden. It's a very short walk up to the main street where you can find very good local restaurants (we especially liked magic food just across main street). The pool is clean and warm, do take a swin in the late evening, floating in the warm water looking at the stars is pure serenity.”

The hotel is so stunning, I service is incredible, the nature is all encompassing and the food is amazing! Would highly highly recommend. Our butler Prasanna was amazing - a special shout out to him and for making our trip so memorable. We would definitely go back!”

“Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting. In the middle of the forest, this is a hidden little gem, with lovely spacious clean rooms, exceptionally friendly staff, and a luxury lodge like feel! It was out of season, so the hotel was quite quiet, and we had the pool to ourselves. I imagine this is the perfect spa retreat in peak season! ”

“We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were consistently helpful and friendly, making us feel very well looked after. The swimming pool was a great —perfect for a refreshing dip after climbing Sigiriya Rock. The hotel is in a slightly isolated location, but this wasn’t an issue for us and actually added to the peaceful atmosphere.”
