Online pictures are very deceiving.

The property was much smaller than the pictures portrayed. The unit sleeps five, including cot. The parking should fit 4 cars. The owners had two golf carts and a car there, leaving only room for two. The kitchen is too small to cook in. The tubs do not drain well. The unit wasn’t very clean. There were multiple roaches. The dryer did not work well. Very few outlets work. That makes it very dark at night because the lamps wouldn’t work. The ice maker doesn’t work. The golf cart is very old and the brakes don’t work very well. Before booking, I inquired about access to resort amenities. I was told that we had access to pools, golf, fitness center, beach access, etc. That’s not the case. That’s only if you book through the resort. We had to park in public parking at the resort to access the beach. The beaches are way too crowded. The only thing we reported to Vacation Haven was the parking situation. Nothing was done about that. We did not want to spend an entire day while maintenance and housekeeping fixed the issues. We paid over $2000 for 5 nights. I was a rip off. Do not stay at this house.

Exceptionally clean and recently updated home

This was our first time to Sandestin and we loved it! You never have to leave the complex. Having a golf cart is the main form of transportation and you can even get to the Publix grocery store with it. The home has everything you need. It was so clean and updated. The pictures showed a keurig but there was also a regular coffee pot.

We love the location but this property is in need of a update. The master Bath was awful.

We were very disappointed in everything about this property. Also, the golf cart was old. As much money as we paid to rent this property, we thought it would be nicer. Weeds growing up on patio area and master bath was awful.

Great getaway

Great getaway, but you may want to find a public beach. Taking the golf cart to the beach access led to umbrellas as far as the eye can see.

Fun get away

We wanted a fun little get away for a few days. This was perfect. We had the best time. The location of this property was in a great location. The golf cart was awesome to have. We used it everyday and was able to go to the marina , warf, restaurants , grocery store , coffee shops , beach , and so much more.

50+ and fab

We and another couple had a wonderful time in destin and our stay at sandestin beach & golf resort. We love all the places you can go the golf cart (grocery store, restaurants, bars, beach) and all w/ front row parking. Our house was kinda out of the busy parts. Very quite neighbors. House every clean and had everything we could have needed.

This property was very nice

The property itself was very nice and we had a great week. There are some issues that should be addressed with the house though. Pillows all need to be replaced and tiny blow drier provided only blows cold air. Sadly I forgot mine and had to go buy a new one since the one in property did not work. The BIG issue was the golf cart! This was the main reason for renting this house vs others. When we arrived the golf cart was out for repair and we had a loaner. It was a sad golf cart with duct tape on the window and a lot of rust. I was told to drive it and see how it ran and let them know. We did that and I let them know it was better than nothing but that the tires scrubbed when you turned. Well the next day they came and picked that one up and we had none!! Very disappointing for sure! To their credit they did credit us $$ back for the days without one. Without the fun of riding around on the golf cart this is just like renting in a neighborhood. No pretty views to sit outside and look at. We have already rented a condo on the beach for next year and won’t be going back to this place again.

Summer Get-a-way

The house was everything we imagined it would be. Wonderful place to stay. Very clean, well furnished and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed the golf cart that came with the property. The only thing that is needed is bakeware for the kitchen. But overall, it was a wonderful place to enjoy our vacation.

Girls Trip 2020

My mom, sister and I stayed at this property this past week (June 23-29) the location of the house was perfect! The communication with My Vacation Haven was not good. I never received an email with check in informarion/instructions. We called them on the way down to let them know the email was never received and they informed me I “should” have received the week prior. I checked all my mailboxes and junk and didn’t have the email. We called them back and they said they would resend it. The property management company did not tell me which email address they sent it to. I then gave them my phone number and someone sent me the address to the house as well as the code to unlock the door. This was the only information we had regarding the unit. Since we never received the email, we didn’t have WiFi information so on Thursday we called again and we finally discovered that my vacation haven had me confused with someone else and a totally different reservation. They sent us a packet for someone staying on the beach side with an August check in date. They had been sending our packet to someone else the whole time. It seemed as the person we talked to did not believe us when we told her we never received the informational email. Once that was rectified, everything was fine. Pros: Location Golf cart Good beach chairs Stainless steel wine tumblers Suggestions: More bath towels Thicker pillows Knowing the fridge and freezer take a little while to reopen after you have closed them Better communication with property management company Knowing how early you need to get out to the beach to reserve chairs/claim your spot. Resort beach was EXTREMELY crowded. We drove to 30A to go to the beach to avoid the crowd. We really enjoyed our stay and loved cruising around the resort on the golf cart. You are close to everything and it makes getting around easy and very enjoyable. Rack on top is handy for beach chairs/gear. We drove the cart to Slick Lipz & Marlin Grill for dinner, the marina for the sunset and over to Tommy Bahama & Publix at Grand Blvd. This rental with a Golf cart was a huge selling point for us.
