âBodde 4 st i 2 queensize. Bra boende dĂ€r man snabbt tog sig till Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Griffith park. Werner Bros. NĂ€ra till freeway sĂ„ allt kĂ€ndes nĂ€ra. Mysigt lokalt centrum i Glendale med bra mat. 10 min promenad.

Chinatown LA wasnât very nice in comparison with others and mainly seemed like a run-down part of LA. Low score for environmental friendliness due to plastic cutlery etc at breakfast. Breakfast was served in a little side room -not too cozy but serviceable. â

âThe beds were so comfortable clean and the room always had a fresh scent. Iâm picky about hotel shampoos and these smelled really good, the staff was always on top of assisting without being asked. There is a lot of close nice restaurants, thereâs a beautiful amazing authentic french bakery right down the walkway less than two minutes away. The other dining options were only about 5-15 minute walk as well as Chinatown, and Little Tokyo. Location of this hotel is perfect for everything.â

"Quite expensive but we had a really nice stay so it was worth it. On our long trip thru cali this was the only hotel who lived up to the expectations. Close to the arena otherwise not much to do or see downtown LA imo. Wouldve loved to stay for more days!"
"Really nice hotel but canât really see why anyone would like to stay in this part of LA unless your doing business in downtown or have friends to visit there like I had. Downtown LA is not a place to be for tourists if you want to see the best of LA. I felt completely safe though on hotel premises, in my single room I had a safe for my valuables and during day time it is of course safe to walk around on the streets nearby but of course keep out/away from the Skid Row area with all the tents. The homeless people are nice and I never felt threatened but look ahead where you are going on the streets and donât look down into your phone.
Single room with a skyview at almost the top but a 13 floor building wonât give so much skyview at all in downtown LA.
Some reviewers here have praised the shower, I looked into my shower and thought thatâs just a regular shower head but OMG that water pressure was superb!
So I am still recommending this hotel for anyone having a purpose to visit downtown LA (not just random touristing of LA) or a romantic getaway where you want to stay in and old fashioned hotel, enjoy the rooftop bar and going by taxi to a restaurant at the evening when it is dark outside (avoid walking when it is dark!).
The tiles in the bathrooms of my single room was really beautiful and the bed just perfect.
So this hotel canât do much about its surroundings but the historic elevators could get some more love by hotel management.
