Lovely quiet property

The cabin was a great jumping off point for all kinds of fun adventures. Anything you can do in the water is just a short drive away. The cabin was clean and well appointed.

Extended Weekend in the Woods

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at the cabin in the woods. It was clean and cozy and well stocked. We definitely felt at home and the kids loved playing in the backyard. It was quiet and just what the doctor ordered for our time away from home.

Anniversary cellebrstion at the cabin

The cabin was clean, had many ammities such as a firepit area, see saw, and many outside items for family to enjoy. Inside the well equipted cabin was lovingly decorated. Our contact, Robert was so helpful and always available.

The Cottage

It was difficult to find the property since the numbers on the mail blended into the box. We were unhappy with the showers the way the water temperature went from very hot to ice cold. The towels and sheets were clean and nice. The deck and living spaces were comfortable. The setting was relaxing and beautiful.

Trip to Montague, Michigan

House with peaceful and quiet environment. The beach is near and the owner was very friendly. Unfortunately, all my family got COVID after staying this house. Not sure if the house was fully disinfected each time. There are two bedrooms in the basement and we definitely felt the house should have a dehumidifier. We paid $50 for firewood for our stay (3 night and 4 days) and you can buy firewood locally at much lower price.

Wonderful cabin!

My family and I loved this cabin! It was perfect for a relaxing vacation. There was plenty to keep us busy in the area with the beach just a short distance away and other attractions within a short drive. The fire pit in the back yard was wonderful for relaxing at the cabin and we enjoyed watching the deer come around in the morning. Our host was easy to contact and very accommodating. You will not be disappointed with renting this cabin for your next vacation.

Great stop for our fishing trip

A wonderful house with plenty of space. The fish cleaning station came in handy for our salman charter. Great wooded area in the back with firepit. Very clean and comfortable. Everything as advertised. We would definitely stay there again!

Great Place

This was a great location and comfortable property. Close to Silver Lake and Michigan adventures. Everyone had a great time, the property was clean and kept nice. I would recommend this property for anyone, especially families.

Great place, would stay here again

Great lake cabin located a few minutes away from Lake Michigan. Very convenient to Medbery Park. Outside is a nice yard, lots of woods, fire pit, see saw, swings, etc. Good porch for sitting. There are neighbors but they are a reasonable distance away and were quiet and the street it is located on was very light traffic. Inside has been redone and is good quality. Not Ritz-Carlton nice mind you, but really nice for a Lake Michigan lake cabin. Plenty of seating around the house, plenty of dishes/cups available, was a good size for a family of five who like to have some space. Good location for seeing the Whitehall/Montague/Muskegon area. Owner was accessible and I'd stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

Beautiful property, great host

We had a wonderful time with our family and friends at the cottage. Our host made us feel welcome and was easy to communicate with via texting. The outside is great, specially for the kids, with playground equipment, very spacious and a beautiful wooded area. The house is well equipped and very comfortable and clean. We also enjoyed exploring the twin towns of Montague and Whitehall. Highly recommend the place and would love to come back.

Great Getaway-Lots to do!

This cozy cabin was great for the five of us and Rob made sure we had everything we needed! The house is just off the main drag but felt very secluded. We used a lot of the amenities and the firepit is great for making s'mores in the backyard. The area had lots of places to explore and we especially liked the sunsets and visiting the nearby lighthouse.

Three Girls Weekend

The property was beautiful and perfect for we three ladies who have been friends for 30 years, but only see each other once a year. It felt secluded in the woods, the birds where noisy in the day and you could see stars at night. We were close to great food recommended by the host, and we loved mini golf and kayaking and watching the sun set on the Great Lake. Nice to have our own rooms, a kitchen to do some fun baking, and a big table to just sit and talk and play cards, “Go Fetch”, and cooperative board games, not Pandemic. Rob the host made us feel very welcome with wine and suggestions on dining and playing.

At Home in the Woods

The perfect house for us. More room than we needed but so handy to have a place to cook and gather with nearby family. The many windows and skylights put us ‘in’ the woods, the outdoor fire pit felt like camping -which we love- yet there you are with all the comforts of home at your fingertips! What could be better?

Great Fall Getaway!

My husband and I had a fantastic long weekend with our two young boys. The property was clean, welcoming and even had some fall decorations added. Rob made sure we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived until we left, including a well stocked supply kitchen. This property was perfect for young children as the bedrooms were dark and quiet for early sleepers and the yard (and adjoining woods) were a blast for them to explore. Our family enjoyed hiking at local state parks, walking the pier, exploring the beach and the local breweries. We are looking forward to coming back in the summer to make s'mores in the backyard firepit, swim at the nearby beach, fish in the channel and play in the yard.

Peaceful Retreat

This was the perfect location for a relaxing long weekend! The cabin was clean and cozy with plenty of space for our family. There were plenty of board games inside to keep the kids occupied when they weren't outside playing tether ball, on the teeter totter or exploring the woods. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook meals. The area had tons of places to explore and things to do - easy access to Lake Michigan, near Duck Lake State Park, close to downtown Montague & Whitehall. We had an excellent stay!
