“The house is very well equipped with all kitchen appliances you need, even a splendid BBQ on the terrace. I didn't miss a thing; it was perfect. The boiler was defect, but promptly replaced. So, that doesn't count. The hosts are marvellous, including the friendly dogs. The area is fantastic; you don't even have to reach out very far. I did a hike starting at the house up a hill with wonderful views to lake Trasimeno through nature in blossom. Beautiful!”

“John & Dianne were utterly lovely and made every effort for us. The listing is very clear and if you're looking for peace and quiet in a serene valley, you couldn't do better. The track should be driven with care but after the first time accompanied by John, it's not too bad. I wouldn't bring a car with low clearance though. John and Dianne are in their home next door which was nice to know. They very much left us to it and didn't mind us playing our music by the pool. Otherwise we didn't see...

“Overall, this was probably the best Italian rental we have ever had. The location just beneath the wonderful hill top town of Panicale makes exploring both Umbria & southern Tuscany very doable. The million dollar view of the grove & surrounding hills from the sun room was a daily treat. Elisa has decorated the cottage with impeccable taste.
