“The place was just as good as we hoped. Lovely outsides and an amazing view over the Apuan Alps and the valley below. Great pool area. 30-40 minutes to beautiful hikes in the mountains and only roughly 1 hour to the ocean and beaches. The host is also very hospitable and helpful. “This stay was idyllic and everything that was promised. Privacy, serenity and beautiful surroundings. Loads to do in the area and off the beaten track enough to have a sanctuary from tourism. Susan was the hostess with the mostess. Always there for suggestions, but never intruding. Her family are quintessential Italian and we loved hearing her grandchildren calling each other across the garden, hearing the neigh of the horses and next doors donkey in the distance. “Om man har bil och vill bo någonstans i närheten av Siena och t. ex. Monteriggioni så är det här ett supermysigt alternativ. Mycket fint läge med tjusig utsikt över landskapet. Fina rum i charmiga hus och väldigt trevlig personal. Rummen var minilägenheter med eget hyfsat välutrustat kök, så ett tips är att ta med sig egen mat och äta middag i trädgården istället för att åka till en restaurang. Mycket mysigt! Vi åker gärna hit igen!”
