Trevlig personal överlag, men under den sista middagen prioriterades ett annat sĂ€llskap/bord under hela middagen och servicen upplevdes nonchalant och dĂ„lig. âSimona, the host, is a nice, friendly, always helpfull person. âMy friend and I had a nice stay at OROROSA Lucca City Center Apartment but I am happy we were only 2 of us as 4 or 6 people in there would not have been comfortable. Please also note the apartment was advertised with 2 bathrooms - that is not true - the apartment has got 2 toilets but not 2 bathrooms - there is only one shower. For 2 people it was nice and spacious with a living area, kitchen and toilet downstairs and a double bed, 2 single beds and a bathroom upstairs. The location was perfect...

âIt looks great just like in pictures. Location is very close to train station and airport transfer. Some housekeeping issues that need to be address in bathrooms...ie leaking shower doors, mold in grout and sink. Would like instructions on how to use stove made available. In US we use gas stoves! Overall I would go back again. â

âThe place is next to a garage shop. There is dirt and garbage pretty much all around. Full of mosquitoes. For the price that you pay unequivocally not worth it. And the Internet Wi-Fi does not work. I would not stay again.â

âHad a wonderful stay at this apartment. The apartment has everything you need just next door to Lucca which is a really nice walk 10 minutes next to the viaduct.Really comfortable bed fantastic terrace for eating outside on the night time with an amazing sunset love this place and I would recommend it to the next family.Thank you Dario for our stay. â

âWhat a fantastic apartment inside the walls of the Lucca Historical Center. We provided our host, Lorenzo Satti, our arrival time and he was waiting for us. Lorenzo toured the apartment with us letting us know how to operate everything. âThe apartment was perfect, its quaint, with typical Tuscan decor, there is every utensil you could possible need, plus all the amenities that make it a home from home, itâs in an ideal location with the train station a short walk away, which makes exploring other areas excellent. Ma plus grande surprise, ce fut : une semaine avant notre arrivée dans ce logement Flavia, j'ai reçu un mail me demandant de payé 100 ⏠pour les frais de ménage de fin de séjour. A payé avant notre arrivée... 100 ⏠c'est abusé...

"Only there for a short stay, 1 night and we arrived very late. Had contacts with the receptionist which was very helpful. When we arrived later than anticipated it wasnât a problem at all, reception open 24/7 and the late night shift was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately we only stayed for 1 night but from what reception we got I would look forward to stay there again in the future. They were helpful to give us breakfast to go for our next destination. "

"Clean, new apartment within okay walking distance to Pisa. However very shady experience as we believe someone was scouting the apartment one early morning. Got woken up and heard lots of noises inside then someone opening the door. You get an unique code for your stay to access the building and apartment, but if you can just turn a breaker to disable the lock completely (which we believe is what happened) then it's not really safe. Even more as there is no way to physically lock the door.
There is also a security guard at the reception but most of the time he is not there or asleep. He doesn't speak a word in English or Italian, was supposed to check our passports to match the names to the room but he kept calling us a completely wrong name which feels mission impossible as our names are on the passports he is reading from...
It's sad as the place has much potential but if we cannot feel safe in our rooms I would never recommend anyone else to stay there."
