“We had an excellent time at Portside Villa. The house is perfectly positioned on Discovery Bay, with great water access from the deck and the private beach. Our daughters are Masters Swimmers and they did a lot of open water swimming. Our kids and grandkids visited the Puerto Seca Park and loved the floating trampoline. “A lovely bungalow, very safe and secure, security is a visible presence. Very comfortable beds, constant hot water in the showers.Situated on a lovely community with restaurants, bars and ATM's all within walking distance. I would very happily stay here again. ”

“This property is amazing. Was a little skeptical when the driver turned in on a dirt road but as soon as we pass the front gate, it was as if we were transported to a tropical paradise. The views in the backyard are incredible. The house is always clean. Rose the housekeeper and Ricky the groundsman, were amazing. Felt safe knowing that they were there. “Mr Ralph was an amazing host! Our flight got canceled due to the Heathrow chaos and he was so patient and kind, making sure we could reschedule. The villa is absolutely stunning and the staff made our trip unforgettable.The chefs spoiled us with incredible Jamaican food, and they went all out for my mum’s birthday….decorations, a floating breakfast, the works! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!”

“Will never EVER CONSIDER staying here again and I will never advise family or friends to come to this property. Poor communication, no cable no pool no remote for the TV. The television that they did have was broken doors open and shut all night by themselves or the wind. If you let them tell it you have to bring your own tissue. “I travel often to Jamaica - staying at different villas and this stay was beyond expectations. The villa is even more beautiful than the pictures depict. Staff here is extremely hospitable and professional. Clayton the butler was friendly, always available when needed and accommodating to every request - morning or night. Chef Shellane was spectacular. Her meals were delicious and she had a joyful friendly attitude. My stay here was beyond expectations and I hope to return here again in the near...

“The exact location was a little tricky but Karl was a phone call away to assist. The building was safe and close to everything, but it’s in need of repairs and updating. The apartment itself met our expectations for the price paid. Loved the balcony to watch sunsets and the hip strip. My family loved the fact that the beach was across the street and dining out was walkable. I would definitely book this place again, only about 10mins to the airport. ”

Good and bad help by the front desk.

"A woman at the frontdesk with big red glasses were very unfriendly and rude to us when we wanted help with changing room. She said our issue was unsolvable, but we got help the day after by woman with a great servise attitude. The food were more or less the same everyday. "

"Jättefin resort - flera restauranger och barer. Fina stränder och stort poolområde. Rrevlig personal i restaurangerna och barerna. Bra mat - både i restaurangerna och vid de enklare ställena utomhus. Bra stämning vid poolen med musikquiz, dans m.m. Det som var mindre bra var att det är dyrt att åka till och från flygplatsen samt på utflykt. Utflykt till Montego Bay rekommenderas inte. Upplevdes inte alls genuint och väldigt turistigt. Stanna bara på resorten! Ett minus med resorten, men som säkert gäller på alla ställen på Jamaica är att det är väldigt instängt - det går inte att gå på promenader etc för det är inhägnat (pga säkerhet)."

Problem with transfer

"We had a very bad experience with the arrogant transfer lady on site. We wanted to be at least 2.5 hours earlier at the airport due to personal reasons. Jody the agent did not care. It was impossible to talk to her in a good manner. We called customer service and they was okey to give us an earlier transfer and booked it, we got confirmation online. When it was time for transfer the next day no one showed up. We had then to take taxi and payed 25 dollar for it"
