Set beneath delightful sunshine and enveloped by a lush olive grove, this hillside holiday home has been restored from a typical Tuscan barn and is perfect for a relaxing vacation year-round. The 2-level holiday home accommodates up to 9 guests and is particularly suited for those who wish to socialise, reconnect and spend time with their loved ones in a private atmosphere.

Outside, amidst well-manicured gardens with verdant foliage and exclusive access, guests will find a large shared pool with sun-loungers and an outdoor shower to unwind at their leisure. The holiday home also has a large loggia overlooking the beautiful 1500-square-metre olive grove that infuses an overall sense of well-being into your holidays. On the loggia, you can indulge in alfresco dining and prepare grilled delicacies in the traditional brick oven for some classic summertime enjoyment.

The whole property is divided into two symmetrical duplex apartments, with no internal connection to ensure added privacy. Both apartments are characterised by terracotta floors, exposed beam ceilings and traditional archways to provide you with an authentic countryside experience. There are 2 living rooms with direct access in each apartment, two kitchens with dining, and all essential utilities to ensure a completely carefree stay with family and friends. One of the living rooms also has a fireplace to cosy up with loved ones and both kitchens give out onto the loggia with seating furniture.

Essential utilities include a dishwasher, oven, drip coffee machine and fridge with freezer.

Sleeping

The entire property has a total of 4 bedrooms: one apartment has 2 double bedrooms, and the other apartment has one bedroom with 2 single beds and a double bedroom. All bedrooms are arranged on the upper floors of the apartments and have a closet for storage.
Extra: There is a single sofa bed in the living room to sleep 1 guest in comfort.

Bathroom

There are a total of 4 bathrooms with a shower, WC and bidet on the entire property, with both apartments featuring 1 bathroom on each floor.

Extra charges

Heating must be paid on the spot based on consumption at €5.00/mc.
A Refundable Security Deposit of €300 also needs to be paid in cash at check-in.
Electricity for charging the electric car is to be paid on-site at €50/week
Tourist tax is to be paid on the spot.

Please note that check-in time is from 4 pm - 8 pm and check-out time is from 8 am - 10 am. Any other check-in/out time has to be previously agreed upon.

The pool is shared with the owner.

Location

The holiday house is located in the green valley of the peaceful hills of Val d’ Arno, just 45-minutes from the centre of Pisa, where the Leaning Tower of Pisa attracts tons and tons of tourists every year. The food shops, ideal for a facilitated self-catered stay, are a 5-minutes drive from here, meanwhile, the closest restaurant and winery are a 10-minutes drive away.

Guests can head to Terme Casciana located at a 30-minutes drive and well-known since the Etruscan times to further their relaxation in the countryside. They can also visit the sandy coastline at Marina di Pisa located a 1-hour drive and enjoy a whole day out at the beach. For something different, there is a horse ranch at just a 25-minutes drive, which is perfect for enjoying with family.

Within 1 hour, guests can explore and discover some of the best-known destinations of western Tuscany, which include Lucca and its impressive town walls, the imposing towers of San Gimignano and the cultural gems of the Tuscan capital, Florence. Leonardo Da Vinci is the nearest international airport, approximately a 1.5-hour drive from this detached holiday house in the province of Pisa, Tuscany.
