“The location on the river is amazing. Even better than we expected. Pricing is on point. We found it very relaxing in the mornings to sit out front and have a coffee. In the afternoons it was fun to swim and watch the boats go by. We did some fishing and caught some bluegill and perch.The host were very friendly and had great communication. I would give the hosts & rental 10 stars if I could but it only allows me to give 5!”

“This group was made up of 7th-12th graders from our classical Christian school (and adults). Our school has a house system and has an ongoing competition, and this group of boys won! This house was selected for their retreat, and they thoroughly enjoyed the house and their time up north. The chaperones said the homeowners were easy to contact regarding access and if anything came up. Thank you for a great retreat! We would highly recommend this home for any large or small groups!!”

“This was my first VRBO. I had a few accommodations for my family to meet in order to make this adventure successful. Three grandsons and 1 son are on the autism spectrum and 1 son that has high social anxiety. The fireworks on the lake were phenomenal and gave some the chance to watch from inside the home due to sensory overload. “We had a great time. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep, hang out, and every game imaginable was available. Great back deck and a yard that's great for throwing a ball or a frisbee or anything else. Little beach space perfect for younger children and the kayaking on the lakes is great. Easy to get to and grocery nearby makes cooking for the group easy. Would recommend. ”

“This cottage was small but had everything we needed and the perfect view. Loved how we were able to use the paddleboats or kayaks right on the river. The host was responsive and very accommodating. We really enjoyed our time here. Thank you!”

“We enjoyed a few days of extended family vacation. It was great to have three bedrooms, a nicely equipped kitchen and a deck with a grill that we used almost every day. Beds were comfortable and the wifi worked without a hitch, specially as one of us were doing some remote work. Washer and dryer were a plus. Our daughter enjoyed kayaking. The lake is more to enjoy with toys than swimming, but it was ok to cool off. Sunsets are amazing! ”

“Clean, cool and comfortable! Honestly can't recommend enoughl. The open floor space is great for socializing without feeling cramped. Coffee pods, shower items and laundry detergent/sheets were kindly provided. The neighborhood is quiet. And best of all, the back deck is incredibly calming! Watch the lovely Chippewa river go by, check out all the beautiful native birds visiting the feeder (get your Merlin app ready!), and enjoy the turtles, trout and other lovely wildlife who come to visit!...

“The cabin is new, clean, and packs a lot of comfort and convenience. We saw a beautiful 9 point buck in velvet in the back yard, and enjoyed being close to The Royal Grill and fishing. We will definitely be back.”
