“The house worked out very well for our family. Well located for all we wished to do. Maria did a great job setting up beds to accommodate our additional person. We did not cook any meals as we were gone all day but if one so desired everything was available. As long as you have a car I would highly recommend this property!!”

“This house was amazing. Incredible views. It was very clean with an updated kitchen and bathrooms. Our teenage kids loved the sauna, cold bath, hot tub and fitness gym. We all loved the incredible coffee maker. This is one of those rentals that is even nicer than the pictures make it appear. We stayed here for the first two nights of our week-long trip in Iceland and we used this to visit Reykjavik. The drive to/from Reykjavik was an easy 40 minutes, but we didn't mind it at all because...

“Me and my boyfriend had a good stay at this property. It has parking for anyone hiring a car. The host was great, offering breakfast and lifts if needed. There was a language barrier but anyone who is not Spanish can just use google translate and it is easy enough. We had full use of his flat including the kitchen etc. Cheaper alternative to hotels and a nicer option than hostels. ”

“Das Ferienhaus Ingolfsfjall direkt im Golden Circle in Island war super sauber und perfekt ausgestattet. Da blieben bei unserem zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt keine Wünsche offen. Auch die Lage ist ideal für vielfältige Aktivitäten im Süden Islands und ins angrenzende Hochland.Besonders hervorzuheben sind die hervorragende Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern und die wertvollen Informationen, die wir im Vorfeld und während des Aufenthaltes erhalten haben.”

“This spotless, beautiful designer’s-eye property could not be better located for a Reykjavik visit. About ten minutes on foot to the Hallgrímskirkja, and from there you can walk the entire downtown all the way to the harbor area if you wish (as we did). There is a little park right across the street (bring your disc golf discs boys) which also houses the Kjarvalsstadir location of the National Museum—well worth a stop and also has a fantastic cafe. This came in very handy when it was pouring...

“It was a great, spacious house to stay in. Near the excellent swimming pool”

“For our first three nights in Iceland, this was perfect. Easy to get to from the airport. Great little town to be in. You have to eat the pizza drink the beer. We even played the local frisbee golf course, which was very challenging. Very friendly area.. Easy location for the golden circle, and the south coast.”

“No front desk. You get an email with the access codes (which we never received) and you have to call a number for assistance. The keypad to the main door didn’t work to get us so they gave us the employees code to get in. And our room was right above a bar that was open until 3:00am. The room was really warm even with the heat turned all the way down and we couldn’t open the window because of all of the noise from the bar. ”

"Fantastisk mat på hotellet, mycket gott att dricka och välja på i baren. Jag saknade sill på frukosten, i övrigt en jättebra frukost för alla smaker. Rummen låg precis mot vägen så trafiken var störande på morgonen, det blev väldigt varmt på rummen. vi var ett 20 tal från olika företag och alla hade samma upplevelse"

"Amazing value-for-money! Most of the hotels in the area will easily set you back €300-500 per night. This place is far more affordable at around €100 per night, but doesn't sacrifice comfort or service. You stay in pods (hubs) that fit 2 people and where you can control the lighting and ventilation. You can even play your preferred music. The bathrooms are lovely and clean. The Rituals brand skincare range is a nice touch. The staff are happy to help with any inquiries you may have. Don't miss the hot tub on the roof! Will definitely be back."
