“This was the best hotel I have stayed at in all of India so far. Vikrant was so very helpful to us and helped us book our trains and even helped us find a taxi to Agra from Delhi when we failed to secure transport in time. He was simply so caring and helpful. “Just spent a day here but must say it was fantastic, from a super smooth and quick checking in to an even quicker checkout which is important as most people stay here only for 1 night so there is a big amount of people checking in & out.
We stayed in Jaipur ITC RAJPUTANA which has a ranking of 4.8 and then moved here with ranking of 4.2 so we didn't have very high hopes as we were not so satisfied with Jaipur's hotel, giving it a 3.5* maximum, but what a big surprise that Agra Mughal ITC was...

“Hotel Taj Resort is absolutely the best choice in Agra! Very near Taj Mahal on a quiet street with very few cars. The staff is very friendly and helpful, food is very good on the wonderful rooftop restaurant where there is live music as well as swimmingpool and view of Taj Mahal. A big plus for showing marblework done by craftsman and the huge handicraft shop on site as well as a lovely puppet show. The guide for Taj mahal, Agra fort, carpetfactory etc was excellent!”
“Kom igår, åker hem i natt.
Trevligt stort rum med skön säng och bra badrum. Lite tight emellan toan och dörren men inga större konstigheter.
Tyckte dock det var lite märkligt att det inte var något lakan emellan "täcket" eller överkastet som ja skulle ha kallat det för, men ett litet samtal så kom de genast med ett till lakan. Grym service och väldigt trevliga, allt ifrån receptionen till restaurangen och städpersonalen.
Hoppas de får ta del av denna recension då jag tycker alla har varit...
“Great hostel, great rooms, fantastic service, super helpful staff! You can see the Taj Mahal from the rooftop terrace!
Only negative is that it was very noisy at night as the hostel is next to a busy road and because the hallway is open (the door to your room is the only door between you and the road basically). Due to that we also had a strong smell of fumes in our room all night long.
Other than that really great experience! ”

“When we got our room there were no towels in the room. The bedsheet looked dirty. They had red stains. I requested them to change it. The new ones didnt look so clean either but were better than the first one.
When we were checking out they said we ordered breakfast so we have to pay extra when we did not order anything. Although till the end they found out that we actually didnt order anything. But the management should be good at their job.

"This hotel is overall very nice — I wouldn’t give it five stars, but the value for the price (around $80/night) is solid. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the room was spacious and clean. I’ve traveled extensively around the world and especially in recent years, and I appreciate when things are done well — and some things here really were.
However, the check-in experience was extremely disappointing. The front desk clerk was aggressively pushing a dinner package on us, despite us clearly being in a hurry to go sightseeing in Agra. It was pushy and uncomfortable — not how a welcome should feel.
Later, we decided to try the head massage in the spa, and that turned out to be a big mistake. It was by far the worst spa experience I’ve had. I had to ask the therapist six times to stop hurting me. My daughter also had to tell her therapist to be gentler. Mine was outright rude and ended the session early. While they waived the fee, I was visibly upset — and in Europe, or even in many parts of Asia, this situation would’ve been handled much more seriously.
Service matters. A beautiful hotel and good food can't make up for experiences that leave you feeling disrespected or hurt."

"Vi förväntade oss mycket mycket mer då detta ansågs vara ett 5 stjärnigt hotell. När vi anlänt till vårt rum så blev vi förvirrade av hur lågt underhåll det var på hotellet. Inte när det gäller trädgårdarna för de var fantastiska. Vi började då läsa recensionerna och började förstå att vi inte var de enda som blivit besvikna utifrån vår faktiska upplevelse. Tydligen så har det detta hotell varit en riktig pärla en gång i tiden. Kan faktiskt bli det igen men underhållskostnaden är nog enorm. Servicepersonalen behöver nog både en och flera kurser i service. Det var nästan komiskt. "
