“This is a very unique property and worth staying in for a few nights. If you appreciate historical architecture and charm, it's worth it. The sound of the waterfall while you sleep is absolutely hypnotizing - unbelievable! Of note however; the steep stairs to the second floor are not for people with mobility issues and the lack of a bathroom upstairs is a small inconvenience. ”

“We come out to NC Wine Country every Spring and Fall and if we have a big enough group (6-8), this has been our preferred property. It's perfectly situated near so many of our favorite Wineries and Vineyards, so our itinerary always starts and ends locally. We make full use of the kitchen for breakfasts and choose one of the Wineries for our Saturday evening dinner. As simple as it is, I also love that every room has at least a Queen bed! “We had a very relaxing stay at this property which was perfect for us - an elderly couple. We had everything we needed and fantastic views. We stayed 4 days and cooked every night. The kitchen was very well stocked. The water pressure could have been better, but we managed. It was so quiet & peaceful that we hated to leave!”
