“The cottage is a full, small house complete with a full kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom, bathroom and laundry room. It is 1/2 block from the Chehalem Cultural Center and 2 blocks from coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants/bars in a residential area. It is about a 1/2 mile from a grocery store. We did not walk or go to George Fox, but I believe the campus is a short walk from the house. Ours was a mother-daughter weekend with a 3 month old baby. It would be perfect for a couple. ...

“We had a great stay! It was only for one night as several adults and teens were running a race at Silver Falls early the next morning. This house suited our needs nicely. It may have helped to have more blankets available as options. We couldn’t figure out the Google thermostat…I think only the owner could adjust the settings to a bit warmer…but we made do. Thanks for making your house available to appreciative strangers! :)”

“This is a great little house! Everything was squeaky clean from top to bottom. The home has been nicely updated throughout, and the kitchen is excellent — well-equipped and a pleasure to cook in. We especially loved the DeLonghi coffee maker; it made fantastic brews every morning. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept great. The master bathroom has a wonderful walk-in shower, which is perfect for older travelers or anyone with mobility issues. The hall bathroom has a tub/shower combo....

The room was smaller than the pictures advertised, though we did not know which of the 3 available rooms we would get. I guess I could have asked, in hindsight. There was only one side table in the room we were staying in which was a bummer, but the floor was an option, just kind of odd.
