“Beautiful property in Port Carling, right on the water. Plenty of space, well furnished and equipped with kayaks and paddle boards. AC not working, oven not working, patio umbrella broken and barbecue very dirty. Couldn’t find any garbage bags or paper towels. Otherwise had a fantastic time with friends thanks to Lux Muskoka!”

“Comfortable. Clean. Hot tub took some time to warm up it once it was warm it was perfect. Coffee, tea and other basics were available in the kitchen and the tv has Netflix and other options to sign in to. Very relaxing”

“Very clean, well-appointed, seamless check-in process. We loved the 3 bathrooms, 2 dishwashers, 2 garbage/recycling cupboards, 2 washers & dryers, espresso maker, ample dining areas, and the baby grand piano!! Comments for families with young kids:- no sandy beach or swimming water; we drove to a beach nearby - very large great room made for amplified sound, making it challenging with littles sleeping upstairs - no dry wood for fire pit so no s’moresVery good hosts!!”

“Beautiful location at the end of a bay, newly renovated and very close to services but still feels like a get away. Very responsive host and everything went very smoothly from check-in to departure.”

“Had a wonderful time during our week in Muskoka. The cottage is amazing. Brand new with fully stocked kitchen. The common areas around the cottage are still being finished but the dock was lovely as was the beach area. We enjoyed using the paddle boards and kayaks. Central location and short distance to Port Carling and Bala which was perfect. Can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s all done.”

“Place was for the most part great and looked very similar to the pictures. Perfect spot for a large group to stay for a cottage weekend away. Only complaint was the odor in the house when we got there was very overwhelming. In the main cottage, the musty odor, particularly in the basement, was very bad. In the smaller cabin, there was an extremely strong curry spice odor that made the stay there difficult to enjoy. If it wasn’t for the odors, would have rated this stay higher.”

“I rented this house for my wife’s birthday and thought it would also be nice to invite all of my in laws as well as their children to join us. Everyone was comfortable, the layout was fantastic, and the property manager was very communicative and responsive. The kids had a blast playing on the sand and kayaking while the adults were plenty entertained by fishing, paddle boarding, and playing cards (when it rained one evening).
