Sons Wedding

Great Location and better than Great Host. Always in contact if needed. We stayed for my son’s wedding at Harkness State Park. The house was convenient and well stocked with all the amenities of home. We hosted the rehearsal dinner at the home which has a large driveway/parking area. The sleeping accommodations are comfortable with 4 King Beds. Would highly recommend the host and home!!!

Hope is the perfect host. The house was exactly as described and perfect for our family pre-wedding gathering. The bathrooms and kitchens were well stocked and supplied and the common spaces were inviting and comfortable. Hope is a great communicator and check in was seamless. Highly recommend Hope and her beautiful property which was so convenient to downtown Mystic and the Branford House at UConn Avery Point.

Excellent stay! Where else could you accommodate 8 people with 4 king size beds and all the kitchen and housekeeping supplies you need. Well thought out and very comfortable outside and interior areas to relax in.Just a great experience

Christmas in May

Short family get together since we couldn’t do it for Christmas! Lots of fun and laughs food and drink. Great house in a great location! Close to everything and all the amenities!

Very clean

The rooms were all equally size with King size beds so it’s perfect for 4 couples. House is warm, clean and comfortable. Would love to come back during warmer months to enjoy the deck and all the house has to offer. Thank you

Room for everyone

Met with family for a weekend wedding. The owner was flexible with our schedule and we were so grateful. Thank you again. 4 king size beds with comfortable mattresses and luxury linens. Plenty of towels and extras. The upstairs kitchen has everything you need to cook though we didn’t have time. Maybe next time. As we will be back.

Girls weekend

We have been traveling as a girls weekend group twice a year for 20 years. This is an excellent property close to Mystic and other sites in Connecticut. I think having four king-size beds is an amazing option for large groups. The host was very responsive to questions and needs.

Very Comfy and Cozy home in Great Location

Annual Family Get Away

Our stay at the Merritt Farm was perfect for our annual vacation with our adult children and their spouses. There was plenty of room, comfortable sleeping and easy access to local beaches and all that Mystic and Groton have to offer. We can’t wait to come back next summer!

Wonderful stay

We celebrated our daughter’s 16th birthday in Mystic and this was the perfect venue to stay at. It was centrally located and has space to sit back and relax. The barns are beautiful and we were lucky to see an amazing pink sky sunset. The hosts were also very accommodating as we needed to drop off a cake early to put in the refrigerator. Thank you!!

Absolutely Amazing!

This host had everything you could ever need! Need beach chairs? check. Need mouthwash? check. Need extra bedding for unannounced guests? check. It was so perfectly located to town of Mystic, with lots of privacy and quiet. The house itself was wonderful! Full spacious bedrooms and 2 living rooms. We couldn't have asked for a better house for our stay and would 100% recommend. Plus the host was extremely responsive and gave lots of details and events in the area! 10 out of 10!

Very Well Stocked

The host was so easy to communicate with and the property was very well stocked. We did not need to bring anything she had it all there and it was nice that someone took pride in their rental. Beds were very comfortable they all seemed new. ( No U shaped beds, renter you know what i mean:)

Such a great place!

Myself and 7 friends stayed for a night to celebrate a girls weekend in Mystic and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place. Hope was so communicative the entire time and got back to me quickly if I had a question. We loved that it was only a 7 min drive from Downtown Mystic. Everything was clean. The house its self is super cool with the stained glass windows throughout. I wish we stayed in a warmer month so that we could’ve enjoyed the beautiful deck that was there. Just we’ll just have to come back and we gladly would! Thanks again Hope!

Beautiful house, views, and amazing host!

The house is really pretty with great lighting and beautiful stained glass windows. The beds are all King-sized with very comfortable mattresses. There is plenty of room to gather as a group or spread out into either a big living room, a TV/Game room, a sunny dining room, or on the deck in the warmer months. The location is perfectly close to anything in Mystic and Groton. Hope, the host, is the most thoughtful, responsive, and dedicated host. She has thought of everything a group could possibly need, including condiments, saran wrap, napkins, toilet paper, dishwasher, high chairs, baby gates...the list goes on. We had such a nice time!

Couldn't Be Happier!

Oh my gosh, truly the best place we've ever experienced! GORGEOUS place, exactly as described! Hope our host was fantastic -- great communication, responsive! Such nice little touches, like coffee, mouthwash & other toiletries! TV's with cable in every bedroom was very nice after a long day, too. Such a neat place, too! Was a perfect spot for a belated Christmas celebration with my older kids, who live in that general area. Thank you so much, Hope! Will probably be back again next year to do the same thing! :)

A Fantastic Week In Mystic

We can't say enough good things about this area or this home. My wife and I love Mystic and all of its charm and splendor. The food is out of this world, the attractions are delightful and the people are wonderful as well. Hope really has thought of everything as far as the amenities go. My wife is on several injectable medications and we forgot to bring a sharps container, but there was one under the bathroom sink. I bought two rolls of dog poop bags but that wasn't enough for our three happy puppies but there was an entire box of them for our use on the table when you walk in. She left us a pastry to bake in the freezer and when they say linens are provided they're not kidding. In the past that meant a towel for each person but here the whole closet was stocked! I could go on and on but you get the idea! Thank you again for sharing your lovely home with us!

Fabulous House

This house was absolutely wonderful! It had everything we needed. Well appointed, with 4 bedrooms, ( king mattresses) Everything you might need is there. From soap, shampoo, dryer, ice maker, to lovely linens, and blankets. The A/C works terrific, as did all the appliances! Hope offered everything you might need in a house and more. She is and was very accommodating to our questions and needs. The house itself is well situated to Mystic, Foxwoods, and Mohegan. We took advantage of all Look Forward to returning!

Large, bright, modern, well decorated home
