We had the perfect stay at Merritt farm. Communication from Hope was stellar. We always knew what was going on and what to expect. She provided a variety of information about the area. We found the location to be perfect. Close to the Big Y, Dunkin and a very short drive to Mystic. The house was squeaky clean. This property has everything you’ll need. The deck was amazing for morning coffee or just hanging put. The stained-glass windows add sophistication and ambiance to the living and bedrooms. Extremely comfortable all around. Thank you Hope for a wonderful stay and experience!

Where do I start. I would give this property snd host a 10 if I could. The host Hope was amazing to work with. She always responded immediately to any questions I had . She just made everything so easy for me and my family . This was a really big trip for me as I was taking my 2 year grandson on his first real vacation . The home itself was immaculate . We could have slept 10 adults if we needed to . My family just can’t stop thanking me for putting this trip together . Hope made it so easy .She’s an incredible host . If you’re looking to go to Mystic don’t think about any other home other than this one . It might have only been a 2 night vacation but it’s one I’ll never forget .

The host was very responsive in communicating with us. The home is lovely, spacious, clean and stocked with lots of EXTRAS. An abundance of towels and personal items. Spotless. Climate controlled comfort. Lots of natural light. Lots of comfy outdoor spaces too. The ultimate stained glass windows were beautiful. Very close to Mystic and lots of activities. We highly recommend this place and hope to make it a regular annual visit.

Sons Wedding

Great Location and better than Great Host. Always in contact if needed. We stayed for my son’s wedding at Harkness State Park. The house was convenient and well stocked with all the amenities of home. We hosted the rehearsal dinner at the home which has a large driveway/parking area. The sleeping accommodations are comfortable with 4 King Beds. Would highly recommend the host and home!!!

Room for everyone

Met with family for a weekend wedding. The owner was flexible with our schedule and we were so grateful. Thank you again. 4 king size beds with comfortable mattresses and luxury linens. Plenty of towels and extras. The upstairs kitchen has everything you need to cook though we didn’t have time. Maybe next time. As we will be back.

Girls weekend

We have been traveling as a girls weekend group twice a year for 20 years. This is an excellent property close to Mystic and other sites in Connecticut. I think having four king-size beds is an amazing option for large groups. The host was very responsive to questions and needs.

Annual Family Get Away

Our stay at the Merritt Farm was perfect for our annual vacation with our adult children and their spouses. There was plenty of room, comfortable sleeping and easy access to local beaches and all that Mystic and Groton have to offer. We can’t wait to come back next summer!

Wonderful stay

We celebrated our daughter’s 16th birthday in Mystic and this was the perfect venue to stay at. It was centrally located and has space to sit back and relax. The barns are beautiful and we were lucky to see an amazing pink sky sunset. The hosts were also very accommodating as we needed to drop off a cake early to put in the refrigerator. Thank you!!

Absolutely Amazing!

This host had everything you could ever need! Need beach chairs? check. Need mouthwash? check. Need extra bedding for unannounced guests? check. It was so perfectly located to town of Mystic, with lots of privacy and quiet. The house itself was wonderful! Full spacious bedrooms and 2 living rooms. We couldn't have asked for a better house for our stay and would 100% recommend. Plus the host was extremely responsive and gave lots of details and events in the area! 10 out of 10!

Very Well Stocked

The host was so easy to communicate with and the property was very well stocked. We did not need to bring anything she had it all there and it was nice that someone took pride in their rental. Beds were very comfortable they all seemed new. ( No U shaped beds, renter you know what i mean:)

Such a great place!

Myself and 7 friends stayed for a night to celebrate a girls weekend in Mystic and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place. Hope was so communicative the entire time and got back to me quickly if I had a question. We loved that it was only a 7 min drive from Downtown Mystic. Everything was clean. The house its self is super cool with the stained glass windows throughout. I wish we stayed in a warmer month so that we could’ve enjoyed the beautiful deck that was there. Just we’ll just have to come back and we gladly would! Thanks again Hope!

Beautiful house, views, and amazing host!

The house is really pretty with great lighting and beautiful stained glass windows. The beds are all King-sized with very comfortable mattresses. There is plenty of room to gather as a group or spread out into either a big living room, a TV/Game room, a sunny dining room, or on the deck in the warmer months. The location is perfectly close to anything in Mystic and Groton. Hope, the host, is the most thoughtful, responsive, and dedicated host. She has thought of everything a group could possibly need, including condiments, saran wrap, napkins, toilet paper, dishwasher, high chairs, baby gates...the list goes on. We had such a nice time!
